Your video quality is top notch, well detailed review. I love the upgrade but I'm stuck with Redmi Note 7 already, it's still very functional, I won't switch until it makes a year. I must confess, I love the price tags of Redmi Note 8 and the pro version. I love Xiaomi. To those who complain about ads on any xiaomi phone, just change your region in the settings to United Kingdom and all the ads will be gone.

The Note 7 is a great buy too even now. I saw a lot of similarities and the fact that they are both Gorilla Glass 5 on the front & back is worthy of note (pun intended) I’ll try changing location in the settings to test this thesis 🤔

I'm buying a new phone and thought Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was a good option but just wasn't sure... Stumbled upon your video and it actually helped me quite a lot ! Love that the Note 8 features a dark mode setting btw I'm positive i'll buy the 4/64 variant Now i won't be surprised if i don't find earphones in the box lmao i should remember to buy those separately ! If you need the 18W charger, you can go for the redmi note 8T. It also has NFC but no notification LED. And of course it is more expensive.

Is the charger two pin rounded that comes in the box . I bought from raya electronics Lagos and received two pin rounded charger which does not go in Nigeria electric sockets

This is around US$140 right now for the 4GB/64GB variant. Still great value for money and blows those overpriced phones from Oppo and Vivo like the Vivo Y20i out of the water.

Great review, glad u mentioned second space. Things u missed out 1-it supports 18W fast charging but it comes with a regular charger. A Samsung adaptive charger works 2-there is actually night mode in the messaging app but it must be activated in the messaging app settings Keep up the good work
