As someone who was an owner of the Xiaomi Band 2, this is incredible how far it has come.

Weather and Alexa dont work but I mainly use it for gps running which works well.

Thanks for the review. In my country, this has been sold for around $80 no warranty but I could find Amazfit GTS2 Mini with official warranty and roughly the same capabilities for just $68. Kinda hate how Xiaomi took their time for this. Still using Honor Band 5 which is still quite capable but I guess I'm gonna upgrade to Mi band 7 later for around $36.

I got this since their China launch and I can say that the GPS need a few workout to pair properly. Initially I'm only getting 1/2 bar, but no issue with outdoor tracking, however the GPS signal getting stronger after a several outdoor use and now I'm constantly getting 4 bars.

Of course Mi band is the best band but I need more choice if braces.

Budget of 100 euros here max, looking to buy a "smartwatch" I go with this one you think ? Or I take something older or cheaper that looks like a toy to me (Band 7) advice is really needed here I think GPS and AMOLED are important to me.

I've got the Amazfit Band 7. Almost half the price and serves basic functions well such as messages, call notification and always on display. Otherwise I wouldn't rely on the fitness part.

Thanks for your complete review. Here in Spain I have purchased the global version and it has Alexa, but no nfc, and mi band 7 counts the steps better. Smartband 7 pro always count bad the steps walking. I go to walk about 5km and the device shows around 2,5 km. Another thing is that it has no emojis and no applications icons on notifications. Do you think will be in the future a firmware that fix that or better a sell it and stay with mi band 7?

Yet another great specs xiaomi device held back by software. Can only wait for a global version as the stand out features: nfc pay and GPS need to be working properly for this to be a option outside China. Thank you for sharing with us

They got an EU cert and zhe rumor is it's coming out in october, I'm definetly getting it as soon as possible, I love my 6 and this seems like an excellent upgrade

The mi fitness app is having a lot of issues, and apparently you can't paier this device with the zeep app. Do you know if there's another app that can work with this band?

Been using this for 2 weeks now. Decent device and no complaints so far in general. However, I feel like its quite overpriced for what you get. If I knew what I know today (this is my first smart wearable), I would definately go with something else.

I have had it since the release date. The negatives are few. Setting the region to China is no biggie. Weather does not work. I like it a lot.

Does it have cadence alert, i.e. if i set a cadence range of 150 to 170 for running, then while running if cadence falls below 150 or goes above 170 then it will give alert?

It's notorious that this watch does not sync with the new MI fitness app. Manual sync is needed, otherwise no steps or activity is ever recorded. Please, don't buy it unless it's confirmed that the watch syncs with the app, everybody is waiting on an update for many months now. Awful support.

Reviews of the Mi Band 7 Pro are almost meaningless in the West until the October 4th launch of the Global Version. In fact, the Mi Band 7 Pro is just now receiving a major update. "A few days ago, Mi Band 7 Pro received a software update that added Vo2Max, sleep breathing quality, support for interval training, and a few other bits and pieces. We speculated that this might be in preparation for the international reveal." Once the Global Version is available we should get a much better idea of how good or bad the new Mi Band 7 Pro is...till then it's obviously an unfinished "China only" product missing functionality and needed updates.
