I bought one for NFC payments. Also live in the Netherlands. So yeah. Could have just used my Mi Watch longer, not much of an upgrade. Maybe I will. Great review Martijn!

How to connect the watch to Wifi?when the option in settings on the watch is turned on,it shows SSIDs but when an SSID is selected it says "Enter password in the app" but there is no such place to give WiFi password in the Mi Fitness app?

I am very disappointed with the device. The same features I can get with the half price in another brand, although it has GPS but does not have a map like S2, no extra apps to be added to the watch!! This is the last time I buy xiaomi product. ❤

I decided to pull go for it. ....it was a mistake! It's an oversized fitness band (not really a smart watch) and a bad one at that. The appearance of everything meets expectations, but the substance, data detail, accuracy, and functionality are all missing. I can't see that any of the results other than perhaps the step counter or GPS tracking are accurate to a useful degree. The sleep data appears to be entirely based off of heart rate (which is a flawed model), and there is no indication that the heart rate tracking is any better than Mi Watch, which was ok, but not excellent. If you set up the watch for the most accurate measurements and "always on" then the battery life is only 1 day (minus two hours that you can't wear it during the day if you want sleep tracking because of charging), which is annoying. I can't recommend this "watch" if you care about the data quality, and I can't recommend it if you want other features (there basically are none and there are no apps that work with it because it's a proprietary OS). Two thumbs down! I'm going to sell mine.

U may have points.. but U can't expect proprietary OS $120 watch to match $300+ OS watch Updating the watch may improve it a little bit, but am not sure how it's last only 1 day with U.. Most reviews out there certified it's get 12 of light use & 4-5 use of heavy use Even my 2020 GT2 E (little brother of Watch GT 2) get me around 10 days of light use

They are 95% the same.. the only advantge of S1 (regular one) is: Steel frame , Saphire Glass & Wireless charging I'd say go for Active since it's like $50 less, or pick Huawei GT3 if U want slightly accurate results for sport & slightly better software updates (my GT 2 E) already had 2-3 years of updates (which is super for Chinese brands)

BUYER BEWARE Dont buy Mibro products - the customer service is dreadful. My watch failed with the known fault of a line down the centre of the screen and then the watch face turns yellow and you cannot see anything. Customer service kept me dancing around for a month with non stop excuses and false promises. When I politely complained, they said there is nothing more they could do
