Actually I've chosen Xiaomi Precision Electric Screwdriver, it has much better torque (two to choice! One more and one less), much better case... Only minus is lack of LED, but usually I use outside LED torchlight 😉

Thanks for the detailed unboxing. My unit unfortunately came with a dead battery, I tried charging it through provided usb cable through PC, extension cord and wall outlet but to no avail. Also interestingly your Wowstick stands quite firmly on the stand, mine is really wonky and barely holds it. I bought it on Banggood because it has over 6.000 positive reviews, I guess I'm just bad luck brian.

It seems like a good electric screwdriver but there needs to be a dedicated light button. The whole point of having a light is so that you can actually see where the screw is in dark places, such as a pc case, to line up the bit with the screw. The light doesn't do me any good if I already have the bit in the screw. Anyone know of any quality alternatives that do have a dedicated light button? The only ones I've found either don't have that dedicated light button either, or seems like cheap knockoffs.

This has been the one item I've been searching for past 3 months. Just started as a dell repair engineer and I've been holding myself back from buying a decent toolkit so I can find the perfect one. And this has to be it. Do you have an affiliate link I can use ?

I just purchased one for Christmas. So now it charges with a C charger wire. The wire that comes with it is still very short. Also it does not come with the little plastic case now. It is not very strong. You can screw the screws but when it comes to make the screw tight you will have to use your hands to tighten or loosen the screws. I can stop the WOWSTICK with just my hands using not very much force. It is not very powerful at all. I wanted this to be the one so badly. For the price I paid for this, it is not worth it.

I have a similar USB screwdriver, it works fine but the handle was so slippery i kept pushing the buttons unintentionally. I bought some selfadhesive grip bands for daminton rackets and wrapped it around. works fine now.

The stick doesn't fit nicely in the stand... The thing charges with Micro USB... It should be magnetic to the stand, fit perfectly, and charge with the stand.

My wowstick just suddenly died after about a year. It also looks like they now block you from removing the retention pins under the buttons, so you can't fix it as many of the reviews say you might need to eventually. Just a warning to anyone thinking about buying this or the many similar ones that have popped up recently.

kinda dumb how there isn't a charger in the base. they went through the trouble of making a heavy base and put the charging port on the opposite end. if i were to redesign the base, i'd run a usb cable from the base and have a usb-c connector inside. i'd have the screwdriver mount into the base on the charger end and change the port to usb-c. i'd adjust the end of the charging end of the screwdriver to ensure that it can only enter the base one of two ways so it mates with the usb-c properly every time. devices just shouldn't have micro usb anymore.

My only real complaint is there isn't a clip anywhere to store another bit, and the bit isn't a combo dual-ended bit either, so the flathead and P1/P0 philips bits we have to carry around invariably get misplaced.Note: Apparently Black + Decker changed this same Li2000 model from "Type 2" to "Type 3". This new "Type 3" appears to be slightly lighter, and the charging plug is now larger, with a little metal piece to keep it snug. I never noticed the "Type 2" version charger plug to not be perfectly snug, so not sure why this change was made - it does make it annoying that our shop now has 8 of these, and the new 3 have different charging plugs :/

I got one of these but it takes AAA batteries but has no LEDs. It's not very good to be honest after a year the forward and reverse button feels like absolute China cheapo junk and has started to get stuck. I'd Imagen I have used it for around 2 hours max in its life time and it's barley able to undo any screws that anything but not really tight in anyway shape or formz the manual feature slips and causes you to force the motor alto turn just about anytime I come across a screw that's hand tight. If you have to unscrew manually any screws that are considered finger tight first it kinda fails as a screw driver in my eyes. You have absolutely zero chance trying to screw in or out any common PC screws that are used to hold something in place ( no good for fans or case screws e.c.t ) The motor has very very very little toque and if your Trying to unscrew something in a tight spot thats recessed then good luck with that as the bits are a non standard size and you end up reaching for a wera screwdriver kit or such. Putting screws into my Minivan keyboard through the plate into the case leaves me having to turn the screws in by hand for 6 or so rotations to get it in finger tight after using the driver. Glad I got mine for so cheap on an Amazon sale, it's not worth the money considering it's faster and more efficient to use a manual driver. Also the tubes for keeping the bits in are just a pain they role of the desk half the time a flat case would be far better. It looks nice but it's a good idea poorly executed

This screwdriver is underpowered trash. It can only work for the tiniest of screws, otherwise it's useless. It's also really slippy, so it ends up being much worse than just using a regular precision screwdriver.

AVOID BUYING THIS: after about 6 months, the charging port snapped off the board and the driver requires fine tools to disassemble. I've seen other people with broken gearboxes. If it dies, the smooth body lacks grip and it is very uncomfortable to use by hand. It's better just to get fine hand screwdrivers and maybe a larger driver like the dewalt 8v driver than this. The bits are also junk and I have started to strip some.
