Honestly this is very heartwarming, seeing Panda pushing Xiaoyu towards Jin and Claudio being a cool wingman. It's nice seeing Xiaoyu got her happy ending and not a corny comedy ending.

Jun would approve Xiaoyu to date her son. Not only that Jun would test Xiaoyu like sparring as well as some questions to her. If Xiaoyu won, she would giving permission to Jun to date Jin. Not only that Jun would allow Xiaoyu to call her, "Mother".

In Tekken 7 Xiaoyu's ending, I believe Claudio trying to use Xiaoyu just so he can capture Jin but in T8 ending he's more of a wingman and I like it

I feel its not canon but part of me wanted it to be canon. With Jin and Xiaoyu starting talking at the end of the story kinda shows Jin is being himself again.

I do think it's canon. The ending of the story mode showed Jin and Xiaoyu meeting up somewhere. It might be up to anyone's interpretation to where their relationship went.

im loving these arcade mode endings, i burst out laughing at jack's. im glad tekken focused on the other characters again, the only thing i didn't like about tekken 7 was that the acrade endings were boring and weren't whacky as they usually are.

Character story endings are non-canon for the most part, as most of them portray the winner gaining control of the Mishima Zaibatsu.
