+Cachetito Frijolito He's getting more screen time in Call Me Baby, but yea he's one of the most well-rounded in terms of talent. He produces music, dance well, AND sings well. I feel like he's just low-key in terms of showcase, which is his personality. He's an angel.

kyungsoo must be just naturally good at languages. his chinese pronunciation is really good when he was singing. it sounded like native! and when he sings/speaks in english he is really natural sounding too.

Kris's Korean amazes me everytime. He sounds pretty natural, and doesnt sound like he is trying too hard or forcing it. Kris is really smart!

I'm surprised that Kris's English is still good. Usually when people go away from Canada, or any place where they speak English, and they move away and learn a new language, it's hard for them to remember! Good job Kris!

i'm not a korean nor chinese but i learn both korean & mandarin and i can say mandarin is wayyyy harder than korean so it makes sense that the chinese members can grab korean really fast while the korean members are still struggling with mandarin

awesomeness967 hmm not really, the hardest part about korean is its grammar as in how to build the sentences etc but the writing and pronouncation are quite easy

rachel chau oh god i havent even finished mandarin and u ask me to continue with cantonese xD i live in malaysia so most of the chinese here love to mix up the dialects so sometimes there're some cantonese and hokkien words that i learn too ;) korean reading and writing is like one of the easiest thing ever you just have to combine the 'alphabets' >,

I'm taiwanese and i speak fluent mandarin. Still i can say it is hard language especially to non chinese/taiwanese people. I speak korean too because i lived there for 3 years studying aboard. Korean language is easy and i learnt it in 1 year. Just want to say this and hopefully it help to clear it

I stan talent only Thank you so much for your positive comment. I just read a comment on this video that said,"Even after 5 yrs they still need a translator. Saying Chinese language is hard is just an excuse. They are unwilling to learn it. No Chinese singer uses translator if they are in Korean industry. It is because they think Chinese industry and audience are really easy." That comment made me so angry that I reported it.

For those curious, when Exo first debuted in 2012, out of all the Chinese members, Luhan was considered the best at Korean. He pretty much spoke with no accent, and many actually thought he was Korean at first. Kris was pretty decent, Lay spoke broken Korean and gets his words mixed up xD Tao was the least fluent due to having studied Korean the shortest amount of time, and couldn't read much either. These days Lay almost has no accent, which Korean fans feel is a bit of a pity xD since he was so cute speaking Korean with an accent.

I actually learned some Mandarin WAY before I got into Kpop (like 3 years before) and I found that it was easier than Korean. I guess maybe because my Korean friend is always telling me that I have an accent when I speak Korean and I can do the accents in Mandarin because I speak Vietnamese and I have grown used to doing them. I still hope to be conversational in Mandarin and Korean and continue to practice my Vietnamese since I'm already conversational in that.

You're not the only one. He's my bias so I always focus on him most of the time. He looks Chinese, he's also in exo-m so I just assumed that he is Chinese. Later I found out that he's Korean haha. I think its to balance the number of members promoting in Korea and China.
