For instance Han repairs UHSS and HSS of the occupant compartment zone by pounding it back to shape. Once a reinforcement is deformed by an impact the integrity of the steel is compromised and would be made worse if it were to be straightened by any repair method. The US requires these components to be replaced with Genuine New OE Service Parts.
