Hi Jish, Although you may be able to tighten the caliper bolt properly as a direct force I think you could find that the side loading of the caliper will cause the plastic to break when braking hard. It's the resistance to twisting by the bolts that allows the brake to work. Otherwise you could use plastic bolts too. If you had radial mounted calipers then this problem is less, that what makes radial rakes a wee bit better. Don't put plastic between the caliper and mounting.

Sweet. Loving the use of the 3d printed part. It's hard to get those speedo sensors to integrate well. On mine I use the standard speedo drive with a widget that converts it into a digital signal. Works well.👍

When it came comes to the final print what material are you going to use? I'd recommend PETG if your not using and enclosed printer. Also prints are weakest alon the layer lines so if you print that on its side so the layers run along the body you'll have a stronger part. Also 0.2mm layer height, 3-4 perimeters and 20-30% infill will be optimum strength. Edit: Sorry I realized this is me just giving you instructions. This is a really cool bike can't wait to see it finished. Been a fan since the cb125 build, it's awesome to see how far you've come.

hi mate great vid as usual, ive walked this path a few times and here is my take, great idea getting the prototype made but id make it out 5mm stainless strip steel (not magnetic) and did you know you can get replacement brake disk bolts where the head is magnetic so it is just a case of taking a bolt out and replacing it with the magnetic one. Vibration is your enemy here and will cause you speedo to be really inaccurate, i wouldnt trust epoxy when i know bolts are available. hope this helps buddy take care Rich

Hi, I'll be interested to see if your rev counter works "out of the box". I put a electronic revcounter on my GSX750ES and the signal was too noisy to get a consistent reading. I ended up having to add a passive filter using a resistor and capacitor to clean up the signal to get a decent pulse for the guage.

Coming along nicely Jish, just a safety note the bracket for the speed sensor make shore the 3d printed material dose not crush over time as that will cause the caliper bolt to come lose. That would not be a good thing.

Hi! I'm installing it on a Kawasaki Zephyr 750 with stock wire. The rpm yellow wire from motoscope mini it's need to be connected to the original wire that gives the rpm pulses to the analogical indicator?? I think that the risk to burn the indicator is to connect it to the coil power supply but the original rpm wire is a parallel wire to that. Thanks!!!!

Great Video Jish! I have two questions for you. We basically have the same set up, M unit blue and Motoscope Mini. Is it necessary to the have the fuse on the red power wire from your m unit aux to motoscope mini? Right now i dont have the fuse wired in and it still seems to work fine. My second question is regarding the yellow tach wire. Last thing left for me to wire and i have no clue where to wire it in. Is it the wire from the ignition coils into the m unit "ignition" slot? Is that what your orange wire is? Thanks!

Nice one. Couldn't agree more on everything being instant and the last 10% taking 90% of the time. One of the things that irritates me is when someone (usually who lives in an instantaneous world) asks how long till it's finished? I feel like replying what comes to mind like, "For f..ks sake, how am I supposed to put a time frame on highly detailed customisation work? It takes as long as it takes" What difference does it make anyway?". I should tell them what they want to hear, " it takes about a day to fully rebuild and engine, 1/2 a day to rewire, yada yada so about 1 week tops from start to finish". Often as you're answering one of the many questions, they cut you off and ask another question (because they can't focus their head for more than 30 seconds on something) like why does that bit have rust on it? Deep breath, does it look like it's finished? Sorry for the rant, hope it was entertaining. Cheers man, keep doing what you're doing.
