Hi Kenneth, Thank you for your input. This kit is a substantially torquier than a brushless hub motor making it have the bottom end that these carts need to have fun with. We have tested quite a few hubbed motors, They really lack the torque a brushed motor produces. The next issues is changing the tire when it wears out. Brushless would be great if they were made in the compact size a brushed motor can be made in. This kit is also a NO modification needed kit. This is a main focus when we design products. This setup on our 48v battery with a 180LB rider will do 24mph.

@@TaxiGarage you need to try a sensored brushless with a vesc. You can easily squeeze a hub motor wheel with 1500+w without modifications to the frame. I use hub motors all the time with crazy off the line torque. It is hard to compare to a well controlled brushless motor even with the best brushed motors available.

@@_ybnn Idk if the link is allowed or showing because youtube sucks, but there are 10" wheels that have 60v 3500w max motors you can grab off of ebay and aliexpress that will seat right in and then you just grab a sensored brushless controller and voila, you have something that is so powerful that it is borderline dangerous.

About an hour and 30 min (non stop, pretty much; with TG 48V batt.) You’ll loose about half an hour ride time from 500W motor. In about an hour, you’ll feel the power running low, then it goes down from there. If you floor it for the most of the ride, it’ll probably be less time. You could still probably get to where ever you need to go to get back (after an hour and a half,) you just won’t be able to drift much, as the battery already drained and doesn’t have much power to take off from a stop, but once you get it going, it will roll. Not sure how far, since I didn’t risk draining it completely to where it totally stops. NOTE: Weight, casters, wheels, weather (wind) will make a difference in those numbers. Test run: TG casters and the wheels. Main tire stock with an inner tube. 6ft, 170lbs. Top speed? On fully charged batt ( and I mean FULLY charged. About 9hrs, until the battery charger light turns green, reading 54.6V. Yes, I waited for it.) Not sure why it says 2.5hrs approx charge time for the 48V, but I’ll take that over 14hrs+ on a stock batt. So no complaints there. So, using Waze app (you decide how accurate it is,) I got 20mph, on the flat rough concrete road. Feels really fast tho (in comparison to 500W) Forget about the numbers. It’s actually lil too fast for comfort, tbh; if you enjoy drifting A LOT.

@@brown2840 Anytime 🤙🏼 Just did another test run. Got 2 hrs out of it (pushed it to the end,) barely made it back to my car, but was still rolling 🐌 before I loaded it up and called it a day. After about an hour and 20min “non stop” of intense riding, it starts slowing down (very noticeable.) The last 25 min you can still have some fun drifting at a slow speed on a smooth surface (preferably,) if you want to push it until it totally goes dead. 52V would be really nice for the new motor 😁 48V is just not enough, impo.

It’s going to be fast enough for you to consider getting some brake pads for your kicks lol Remember, we still have no brakes, and now you’re flying down the street at about 20mph (on the flat rough surface, with an air tube tire, and TG casters; fully charged batt. 170lbs) ... Be careful what you ask for. Nice smooth surface with a bit of a slope, might get you to 25+mph; at that weight. If you thought you had issues with wheels, always replacing them. Hope you’re ready to spend some MORE money. And if you didn’t, then get ready to lol Especially for less experienced riders. It’s almost too much power tbh; that’s if you enjoyed drifting more, than just going straight, and weak turns (for the most part.) You’ll see what I’m talking about (if you get the kit.) Battery drains slowly at the end with this kit, unlike prior to the upgrade (stock 500W motor,) full power until dead (unless you had different 48V ESC, like from fast scooters, which drains the battery slowly (even with a TG 48V batt.)) You will also loose about half an hour on the batt time (from ~ 2hrs) Which is not that bad, but that 30min makes a difference, especially when out having lots of fun 😁 Lets put it this way, there were days when I got bored riding it on the 500W motor (48V) lil over 2hrs. This one, starts slowing down at about an hour of intense riding. Thinking about getting another batt hehe I’m not going to lie, already miss the old set up. I’m more into drifting it, taking tight turns and all that, but with this much more power, it makes it more difficult to do so, smoothly. Even steering hand gets a bit tired from trying to hold on to the steering wheel while holding a lengthy drift (never felt the strain on hand on the old set up, taking the same turns.) Motor gets hot sooner than I expected (in 65 degrees weather,) probably normal, but does cool down pretty quick. Oh and get ready to flip (unless you take it easy.) Hope you have some of the gear on 🙏🏼 Other than that, if you take it easy, you’ll be iight 😁 Unless each kit is different from another, that’s pretty much what you should be expecting. Have fun and stay safe. *Don’t forget some good quality brake pads for your kicks, you’ll need ‘em lol 👻

@Santiago Caram Perez You mean their standard size upgraded (500W) carts? I can’t agree or disagree on that one, haven’t ridden one to compare. And tbh not really planning to, as I constantly flip over (sideways AND backwards, and not even full speed) on the standard size cart (6ft @170lbs) with the stock 250W and TG 36V batt; with stock casters, XL casters, and even TG casters/wheels (tried all 3) It does “wheelies” more often than I’d want it to, sometimes turning over completely. I do have my seat adjusted to the furthest (there are only two options,) but that shouldn’t throw it off balance someone weighting about 170lbs, as there are much heavier people riding them. Maybe I got to get used to it more, or just too wild on my turns, idk, because clearly they all ride em without any issues, even at full speed (fully upgraded.) So I stick to the XL (for the most part.) It’s way more comfortable too, HUGE difference. Just a mission to transport and all that, but manageable. You also need to remember that standard size cart weighs just 55lbs VS 112 lbs XL. That’s a lot of weight difference which does effect the speed. So I wouldn’t doubt that fully upgraded stage 5 standard size cart would out run the XL with a new 1000W kit (someone else would have to test em to confirm.) TG have both, and can easily do that. But I guess they left that for us to find out lol One thing for sure tho, you’ll be much more comfortable AND safer, on the XL, even IF it’s running a bit behind.

It’s clearly stated (in bold capital letters) that the product drop is on March 1st 2021 @12:00 EST; first come first serve basis. That’s probably why we’re currently seeing it as “sold out.” The only question here is, is that am or pm 12:00? (since it wasn’t specified.) But I guess we’ll find out. *Main site confirms it being 12pm (noon) EST.
