I had a boyfriend that died at age 18, he loved me with all his heart. I had a husband of almost 50 years that passed away in Sept 2013. He loved me more than can be put in words or described. I have had another man that passed away since then - -they say I was the love of his life. So I have known love and I have given love. Today, I have a guy that I think I could love deeply if I could tear down the walls. To love and be loved is the greatest thing besides God. We as humans crave that. My sister played this at her wedding, it was super emotional. I can’t believe I wasted my childhood fighting with her. Now she’s married and she has her own family.

I lost my wife almost a year ago. This was one of her favorite songs. It randomly comes on when I'm feeling low, and it makes me happy hearing it.

I watch this version again and again for the scenario the director (or whoever) created so brilliantly.... the lonesome apartment, high up in a tall building at 4am in the morning, with a brief sound of the tv in the background... it's getting cold and then there's the fadeout to the sounds of a big city with a distant siren.
