This is xm18d which is better version of xm18 it have more button for over voltage and extra buttons for light and fan , the wiring is simple and easy , I have connected all the components and it working good , this is intelligent thermostat for temperature and humidity controller for humidity controlling.

Great video Umair. I followed the video but the egg turning motor I had still has issues. No power. Do I need to add connecting wire between COM 1 and COM2. Also can you share the operating instruction manual. I'm unable to locate it online. Thanks.

It is 15,17 and 18 which motor are you using if it is 2 wire tray then 15 and 17 is connection

When using a horizontal egg roller tray system (without limit switches) instead of the tilting rack system with limit switches, can I assume you can simply choose Left or Right to connect to the + side of the motor, and the - wire goes to the com (ignoring the other connection for the opposit direction) as you are only turning the eggs in one direction, "round". Can you join the neutral common of the heaters with the main power supply common instead of wiring to the neutral of the heater wire screw, or should each heater use a dedicated neutral back to the controller as directed? (Placing my controller a distance away from my incubator and want to minimize the total wires running to the unit from the controller so I can use a molex style quick disconnect and wall or panel mount my controller.

If you are using tilt motor you need to place the wires in the dedicated panels of controller , you need to place the heater wire in the controller not from the main board

Hello I watch your videos about incubators and I love them❤. Yesterday I purchased xm 18d with a humidity sensor having 4 wires and after connecting the sensor to the controller as per manual the humidity level is showing 20-21 relative humidity. Kindly tell me what to do. Thanks you 🙏🏻

So to be clear, all equipment gets its 220v (110v US model) power supply from the control unit, including the two manually switched accessory connections (circulation fan and light), both 220v/110v line out + neutral connections. I also assume the 12v + / _ connection is there as a power supply additional unswitched or externally switched DC equipment, such as a "door open" 12v light bank, or addition of a second 12v "always on" 12v circulation pc muffin fan positioned near the humidity source to help disperse it more evenly?

I still don't understand about those 12v relay even place a 12v led to it and place relay circuit but it doesn't work for any purpose

@@Umairworkshop I used a voltmeter to test the output. I believe it may be the location of the power supply for a 12v model option they may offer or plan to offer in future (+/_ DC = Line/neutral 110v/220v AC). It's probably best to design the housing once and not use the function than to have to remanufacture the entire unit for a small future mod. My thoughts without taking it apart. Here's a Question for you: I'm building an incubator lockdown unit and I want to incorporate a backup smaller (stc-2000 series) temp and humidity controller inside the unit, instead of having to remotely install the XM-18D "shoebox" sized controller on a wall. I'm wondering, if I make sure not to have both controllers powered on at the same time (a 3 way on1/off/on2 switch), could I wire the heating source to both units without issues? The XM18 connection provides power through the controller relay, whereas the stc unit is just a switch, so the heating element and humidity maker need external power and the neutral being interrupted by the controller relay switch? I fear that I may back load the heater or the stc backup control unit when the other is powered on. I guess I will have to draw it up and follow the potential for problems on a schematic.

Incubator temperature is supposed to be under 39 celcius , I don't understand why you want to go over 43 celcius , if you want you can change the over temperature limit from internal setting

bro I have some doubts with this automatic incubator controller please help me dout 1 : bro can we use 2 normal auto swing motors for 2 wodden Egg trys or we have to use same exact motor you used in the video.? because the one you shown in the video is not matching for the wooden tray dout 2 : can I use 2 cooling fans 4" to spread heat equally inside the incubator with automatic function and not manually by fan switch. (exhaust fan for pull excess heat and moisture from the incubator)

If you are connecting 3 wire actuator it will be placed in motor wiring , but for 12v you can wire 12v power supply to motor wiring which will power 12v actuator

Hi, I have the same model, but the humidity alarm always rings, I put a new meter on I did the test and it works, using a multimeter to see when the humidifier turns on and it has no current, that is, the humidifier never turns on, I already installed it the temperature sensor to the maximum next to a source of hot temp and it also works, but it never triggers the humidifier. how can i solve this?

If it is not opening humidifier than the relay inside is faulty for humidifier only
