Hey man, greetings from Russia! Currently learning Java, was stuck on schemas, couldn't find any good explanation until your vid. I still don't know what is the meaning of "targetNamespace" and "qualified/unqualified" keywords, but I got a bit closer thanks to your vid. Good job!

should the XSD file name be the same as the root element name? you used "student.xsd" here as the root element is "" is that the case or the file name can be anything.xsd

XSD uses xml syntax rules only , so file name should be same as root element.

@@SudhakarAtchala Yes I did. One question, how Xsd handles duplicate records means one parent element id received 5 input records in which 2 are "N" and other 3 are "Y" .in this scenario what it will show? "Y" "N" "null"

No, we uses sequence element only to specify child elements. Sequence element specifies order of child elements. while specifying attributes no need of sequence element.
