As a photographer myself, I loved that you actually incorporated photography as decor. I think finding the right photographer and photography style, photos can be part of the decor and completely personalizes a room. Love that it’s you and Romeo.

Great moody bedroom! As a former rug designer and colourist, I noticed the white, looked like thread bare areas, in the beautiful rug you purchased. You could get a fabric dye or coffee dye and dab those areas with a sponge to soften and blend the colours so there is not such a contrast. This will not hurt the rug in any way. It is nice to see a designer willing to experiment with colour, still keeping everything soft, calming, and neutral. Good job.

And your eye for detail is just amazing, like that final touch of the books in the window and switching out the knobs on the nightstands. This room turned out so lovely!

So cozy. So gorgeous. SO MOODY! One of my favourite spaces you’ve done - I think the minimal decor and furniture means being so much more purposeful than you already are and you seriously nailed it.

As a person who works in an art gallery, the standard for hanging art on the wall is between 57"- 60" to the middle of the piece. For example, if you have artwork that is 20" long, hang the piece so that the top sits between 67" and 70" high on the wall. It'll look great every time - not too low, not too high!

Was just about to go to bed and thought how sad that the video would upload to late for me here in Germany .... But there it was!! Uploaded for half a minute.... Now I'm torn whether to be smart and go to bed or whether to watch it....aaaah!

I think if you colour drench the windows and doors it would be just ughh so ❤ beautiful. Or maybe the same tone as your dresser. The white seems a little stark compared to the rest of your super calming, moody space. It has inspired me to want a dark and moody bedroom too😊

As a dark and moody lover, I love that you went this dark in your bedroom. It's good to see something different to a lot of other channels that just do light neutrals. Dash of pepper was my favourite. I have dark forest green in my kitchen and utility room and one wall of dark blue in my bedroom, but want to do green colour drench in my living and dining rooms. Your bedroom is beautiful 💚

Best Transformation Ever! Love Love Love.

This transformation was worth the wait! Stunning is an understatement. Although I would not be able to live in a home painted this dark due to my neuro-divergence, your style is beyond beautiful. The dresser is perfection and everything ties together to make a masterpiece!

The bed seems kind of beachy in this setting. Otherwise the room is stunning and reminds me of the beautiful entryway in the cottage. I also like the chair by the doors and the brass knob on the dressers, with the brass lamp and I obviously love the books by the window! But the bed frame doesn’t do it for me, I must admit. I also would have colour drenched all the fixtures and outlets. The moulding looks great and yes, that painting is transformed next to those greens! It’s like it was freshly polished, the greens of the painting pop much more now. I didn’t think I’d like the dresser, I thought I’d be too light, but it looks really good, especially with that mirror and the organic vase and the styling items on top. The rug was the perfect choice, its edged almost melt into the brick in such a special and organic way. But the bed does not do it justice. I’m not saying the concept of it is bad, I see the idea, but the lines aren’t aligned and too sparse, it’s more preppy beachy than light yet moody delicate vintage striped. It doesn’t feel elevated in this room, and since it is basically the star of the room, I genuinely hope that one day you’ll come across a bed frame that is just as beautiful as the dresser and genuinely is worthy of being in this cozy almost-library bedroom.

Honestly, this is my favorite room makeover you have ever done, in terms of no full renovation. I absolutely love what you've done to update the bedroom and the en suite. I think I may be sad if you change it all during the future renovation planned! Phenomenal job girly. Also- I just received my candle and it's beautiful in every way. I am saving it to burn after the New Year, but just respect so much the thought and work that went into creating such a product. Please let yourself feel proud. You should.

Hmm, all the designers I've watched lay the rug in the other direction, that way when exiting to bed, your feet hit the rug not the floor. That's how I have mine. I personally think it looks more pleasing. Just a thought.

My dad had those same marble horse bookends in his office when I was a kid. That unlocked a memory I had forgotten! That first view of your room with your dresser and mirror was breathtaking!
