MK1 is the first time I actually ever really liked Quan Chi honestly. I guess it's more of a design thing, considering he's still pretty much the same character he's always been. And yeah, the trash talk helps I'm sure.

Dont forget you can do long combos into fatal with motaro! You can spam kameo button during fatal startup animation and he will swing instead of you and he has insanely fast startup on his and it goes really far

@@afroshinobii nah kameo still has to be available as normal. Motaro can just start it instead of you, and its really fast for putting in combos that might drop otherwise.

i thought quan was the worst by far but i played one guy online for almost 3 hours straight, same characters same everything, i kinda think that quan is a mixup machine he has a safe 50/50 that leads into 30%+ meterless, great zoning and keepout and overall looks really cool

He doesn't have a safe 50/50 unless your counting Strike Throw ShmMIX. His 13/B34 is fuzzyable block low to high easy you should never get opened up by 13. His 2144/214xxDB4 is a real mix but also fuzzyable on some of the options but it's extremely risky and expensive being 2Bars for the tentacle launcher. The 213 just does no damage and 2144 goes nowhere you have to 214xxSpecial into combo or 21xxExDB4

Glad you having fun with scorpion , would you do another subzero contract to the recent one ? (Prepatch vs postpatch) Especially you often plays with sonicfox who vow for subzero has untapped run a way game (not like that wins you game too much) and really abusable dive kick (there's a linkuai master player is really good with it )

Oh i do mean mostly the clone change (bug?) Enables said run away game ! *Basic clone and every clone freeze longer now , there is delayed enhance input (mk11) triple clone to create distance with reasonable cost (motaro set up) , and the ex longer presence (140f) enable wake up mix ...)

He is my main and he needs a buff, his zoning is solid with good chip damage and he has some good start ups but then the downside to him is when you pressure him he can’t really do much especially against a character like Johnny Cage you must always be on the attack as Quan to actually get anywhere with him.

Very good in some areas but very weak in others. Close range is really a struggle for him but mid-range to full screen he’s really good:

@Xombat , Think if NRS makes his mid faster, make 8 frames to 7 frames to his 122 (don't remember 112 or 122), and repair his pokes that will be a satisfaction) Also I ve seen today that quan can do a syrex net after some of his stings, combo and then use a syrex bomb setup and continue the same combo. Send to Sonic genius, my eyes usually don't lie to me ahahhah Overall nice set ! Enjoy all of it

Hey xombat, my names rxcklxss apart of a new mk community on pc name NYT Dojo and I’ve mained scorpion motaro since the launch of the game, through my run I’ve played over 1000 games with this team and have invented resets and timings for tech that no other scorpion motaro has come close to from what I hear around me, whether it’s the elders we have in our community or the people I play online daily. I dislike Quan Chi. This „Get away from me“ fighting style ruined him imo. I dropped him after a few online matches. He is slow asf and you can’t poke with him. You have to be extremely patient if you want to pop off your opponents defense. (He is not my character type.)
