So in the tests it still triggers the alex insta proc, tallents buffs, and accesories, i guess they wanted to change wording and fail or who knows. But i dont understand where the 200 dmg factor camed from..

I started a drinking game where every time Omniarch says “insane” I drink 1/2 ounce of whiskey and every time he says “actually insane” I drink 1oz. 43 seconds into the video my vision became impaired. 2 minutes into the video I started verbally abusing my wife for no reason. 4 minutes into the video I told my kids they were adopted just because I thought it would be funny to see their world crumble. 4 1/2 minutes into the video I passed out. When I woke up in the hospital the doctor told me that I had acute liver failure. I said “You’re acute doctor”, then proceeded to watch more of this video. 6 minutes into the video the nurse slapped my thirteenth glass of whiskey out of my hand and they started my liver transplant. When I woke up from the anesthesia, the doctor told me that my wife and kids had left me and my body was rejecting the new liver. I know it seems ridiculous to spend my last couple of minutes alive typing a KZfaq comment, but if I can help even one other person from dying of “Omniarch Liver Disease”, then this comment is worth igahcjejjzjkjanfjcjk

cav mains when they arent the best at field, garrison, rally, PVE, early game, mid game and late game: 1:07

Cav have literally never been the best garrison and haven't had best rally since Attila first came out. Archer and Inf both better in field, inf better garrison and archer and inf both likely better rally once these come out. They also have the least and worst civ options and least gold key commanders for early game and F2P players (just CC) so it is more of a "cav mains worst at everything but butthurt inf players still cried when they had Gorgo and LC"

@@Vermonster19 okay lol, inf field before liu che was atrocious. guan scippy is decent, but guan is power crept completely, only thing keeping him in is their synergy. Cav has been top open field for a long time until relatively recently. Also cav has minamoto early, which is pretty easily accessible to get to at least 5511, and best equipment especially early game. So the early game argument is kinda insane. They also had best rally when justinian came out. All you had to say is that you are a cav main.

Great video! Just one thing to add, you mentioned in 10:00 that he must be attacked by 3 players, but that's not the case. He will deal damage to up to 3 players who are attacking him, but that's not a requirement. If you are 1v1, it will trigger as well because the enemy is attacking you. So you always have that 2700 smite damage as "default" even in 1v1, + those 300dmg on 2 other players attacking you.

Yeah I meant in order to get an “AoE” type of effect he needs to be attacked - but yeah I mentioned in yesterday’s video it’s always 2700 which is really nice!

Based on the talents that are already in the game, attack, defense, skill except support, they require 48 points to cover all the talents so I assume that the simte damage branch will be the same total cost. I also think that to cover the talent (thick skin) and (Fight or flight) the cost is the same as in the skill tree to obtain the talents of (Clarity) and (Rejuvenate).

Couldn’t agree more with the video honestly. He doesn’t seem overwhelmingly great and I can’t value build him for the field (he wouldn’t be better than Guan/Scip LC/Alex). Smite tree could change stuff but unless the pairing is just WAY better than Alex investing is hard to justify. Who know though, they could just let it run wild 🤷🏻‍♂️ great topic and video my guy

You also forgot liu che´s insta proc damage also reduces rage with the talent tree, hope theres no cooldown. Also if liu is primary and hits 5 targets with aoe, after damage reduction it could be that they reduce the damage factor to 900 smite damage instead of counting as 2250 smite damage then reducing it afterwards. After testing we will see.

I was worried about this as well, so I did the math. After hitting 5 targets, his dmg is reduced to 5625, and that is still above the 1k dmg per target

I think the 300 dmg factor on aoe would've been better if it was aoe basic attacks. Imagine that plus Sargon's active skill proccing that would be an extra 2400 total damage factor instead of 900 AND Sargon would get revived life.

Imo smite damage up to 10% is just for future smite ranged commanders. They dont leave combat that often

Smite talent will make gajah mada fking OP, his first skill deals smite damage 5 times, means 5x45 = 225 rage reduction, it's just from his 1st skill alone, if we add smite damage from gajah mada expertise skill, cordoba 1st skill and 3rd skill + silent trial, imagine how broken it is 💀

Guans aoe while getting targeted by 2 targets has a 50% chance to deal 3400 dmg so badically its 2700 3 target AOE. and scipio is perfect for the tanking. I had a Guan/Scipi + Liu/Alex that won against Huo/William and Nevsky/Joan. It was surprising since if you don't hit Guan you will suffer from the silence, and if you do hit Guan you will again suffer from the insanely quick silence. He even had full legendary gear on both marches while i had 1 half legendary and epic gear. I was so hyped!!!

Yes. Which is funny the hype about Wallace… a single target commander, with no debuff and a low sustainability… compared to the trash talks Huo got at his release. Same for Beli P, which is for sure a commander that shines in certain situations. But it’s single target high dmg, more defensive stats, and actually two types of Debuffs 😂. Wallace will be Huo in that thing that he is just a dmg dealer. He benefits of being a smite dmg commander, and of the potential pairing with LC. But ppl are so hyped by LC/Wallace as the next best combo in the game, a march who doesn’t bring almost any utility to your openfield… compared to what ZL/Herman brings for example

Looking beautiful on paper. Don't get carried away. Take your time to see what Walles does. Single target inf commander never been meta. With that defence stat he will melt like butter faster than Guan.

Yup, ppl just get hyped with new stuff. I got gorgo, i know ww will be better (mostly bcs of the talents). But i dont think it will be worth enough to replace her. No good defense, no debuff, average single target and the 40% wasted if he goes primary plus buff to normal dmg is pretty low. I guess it will be a mather of how good the talent tree is

They changed the wording because they added "combo attacks" to differentiate the normal basic attacks from the ones you get from skills (only LC skill for now. But maybe other commanders skill in the future)

There is too much slow effect in the field. not just siege. from talents to passives. people just never really looked into and rather care more about KP and meta, no utility.

Seriously, I think William Wallace makes 3 infantry marches viable. GYu/Skippy, LC/Alex, William with whoever infantry. All of them could give out shields to allies, and there's stacking of normal shields and mighty shields.
