Just bought the Ridgeline Sport Fri. and it's 1 of the best purchases I've EVER made...

Just bought a Black Ridgeline Sport today. After weeks of comparison and being seriously honest with myself about how much road vs. off-road and towing I would need, this was a very easy decision. Also has the best ride and resale of the bunch!

the ridgeline sport is one of the sexiest trucks out there

And anyone saying how much better the other makes of trucks are... maybe for heavy use. But for daily driving and road trips, this is awesome. One HUGE selling point for this truck: CONTENT FOR PRICE! I'd say this competes with the Tacoma, Frontier and Colorado/Canyon. Try specing those out with leather. Ohhh right they don't have leather available. Try specing out an F150, Silverado or Ram with leather... HAHA you'll pay at LEAST $10K more... maybe $20K more than a Ridgeline RTL.

And here we are in 2019 and a good condition Sport with low miles is going for over 20k. Talk about good resale value

I honestly am thinking about getting a 2012 Ridgeline as my first truck when I Turn 16 next year I don't know what it is but ive always liked the Ridgeline.

I agree w/ yellowcow13, it does at least need closer to 300hp and a 6-speed auto for the V6. Overall, great looking and sounding truck, would like to see what Honda does w/ a redesign w/ the Ridgeline

Love these trucks!! This is what dad wants me to get but I'm not a truck guy :p The Sport looks fantastic!

@yellowcow13 I do agree the Ridgeline's MPG is disappointing. If it could match the Pilot's 17/24 it would make it competitive. Hopefully they redesign it soon tho... they need too

I can't wait to trade in my 2010 on a 2013 next year. I'll be staying with the RTL model though. I like having XM and leather. 3 years and 34K miles and ZERO issues. I really just want a white one (my 2010 is Bali Blue Metallic) with the roof rack.

We've had 2 Ridgelines, and my dad's been looking for a black Sport to buy. Also, I have a really bad feeling that they're going to discontinue the Ridgeline in a couple of years. :(

bought this same exact truck 5.5 years ago has 107,000 trouble free miles! THE GEN1 MODEL IS THE BEST TRUCK HONDA HAS EVER MADE!

Honda got this design correct right out of the gate. I just pruchased the 2012 Sport model in Black just as shown in your video. As the previous owner of a 2006 Ford F250 diesel and 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi, I realized those trucks are not near as refined and I never had the Honda fis far more realistic for my driving needs. Not to mentionthe Rdgeline is $20k less tan the Ford and $15k less than the Ram.

I have a 2007 and I love it... honda is the best.

Other than the 18th century interior this is still to this day one of my favorite Honda products of all time. (The new one is awesome too but I feel it did lose a little of its character)

Its one of those cars that looks nice even though its dated. One thing I think it needs is a 6-speed Auto and standard XM, and we're good to go

I don't like how the tailgate isn't flush with the box's sides but it looks pretty good. I'd take a 3.7 Ford F-150 before this though because lets face it, this just ain't a pickup.

i think im really starting to love the Ridgeline....even though people don't consider it a real truck im really starting to dig it...maybe just because it's diffrent.

bc the Ridgeline is not really a truck, the platform is similar to the Honda Odyssey and that is similar to the Accord

This thing is sexy af... Idc what anyone says... Honda hit it right out of the park... Simple lines.. No bs electronics... Awesome center console.. Big Guages... Good towing capabilities... Rear locker... In bed trunk... List goes on... For a average Joe not looking for a full time work horse... This is perfect... And reliable af.. Resale value is great too

The Ridgeline is meh....looks good though... Great sound! I feel that across the vehicle line-up, Honda has the best sounding (natural) engines/exhaust of any mainstream automaker.

This is far from a truck. Love the looks and engine note but it doesn't tow much, unibody and FWD just isnt a truck.

These trucks were decent 5 yrs but now are only ok imo, Ride quality is no better then a Ram or F-150, Engine is underpowered, MPG is no better then a American truck that has 100+ more hp and it has limited towing ability. Not to mention its questionable styling and is outdated. Other then the Honda nameplate (which is so-so as the previous and current Odyssey have/had poor quality & reliability) I don't see any reason to choose this vehicle over its competitors. That one one does look good tho.

This is hardly a truck. Barely a bed. Remember when trucks actually had beds you could put stuff in? Also you keep saying "old honda". Do you mean they just haven't changed the design but it's a new one? Also I blame this for the reason the pilot looks like an old 90's SUV.

2006-current Honda ridgeline owner....hate it. Over priced over rated. Almost done paying it off, once done I'm heading out to get me a FORD because the way I see it is nobody can compete with the game changer changes ford is making in today's market and incorporating todays technology.

sounds good, looks stupid! the box is no better then a ranger and for the money you are better off getting an F-150 and having a TRUCK! i own a ranger and i work with a guy that has a ridgeline and to be honest i would not trade my truck for his!
