I've received a lot of requests from new Deus 2 owners on how to set up target tones whether it is 3 tones, 5 tones, etc. and adjust them to your liking. This is really easy to do but for beginners or someone new to the XP Deus II this could be difficult at first so I walk you through step-by step each setting and demonstrate how I set up my 3 and 5 tones. Great information! I’ve had this metal detector for about two weeks now, and not finding the learning curve, quite as horrible as some people indicated to me. I make notes on all of your videos that I carry with me when I’m out on the beach, so if I want to make changes like this, I can just glance at my notes and do it right there while I’m hunting. best informative videos for the Deus2! I don't think so. copy them so you can just pop them back in. Disclaimer -- I only think that I read it will not save and to write them down.

If you change discrimination or any other setting does it go back to factory setting when turned off? I just got a Deus 2 and it’s a bit of a learning curve compared to my Fisher Gold Bug. 😅

Thanks for the video 👍 How is that nickel coming up an 65 on the TID? They usually come up 60-62. Did version 7.1 change the TID’s?

Thank you for watching. As far as nickels go, I've seen them hit 64-65 but most of the time they hit between 60-62. I don't think the update changed the target IDs much.

Hi....my name is Ted....I'm a newbie....I was wondering, say if you made changes to General....then toggle to a different program to try out....then go back to General, are you changes still there, even though you didn't save them before exiting General?

Just when you turn the RC off. Not when you go to different programs. The changes are kept as long as the RC is powered on!
