Thanks for this. Very helpful and the best video I have seen so far. I liked that way you explain the reasons for the setting and more importantly, the effects you get if the settings are varied. Most videos just explain how to do the settings and not what happens if you vary them a little. Great work!

I used this on the Deus 1 yesterday on pasture and it worked perfectly for the site I was on! I had 8 toasted coppers a William iii silver crown, William iii silver sixpence, silver plated livery button and a medieval seal matrix! Buzzing thanks mate!

Very helpful video Sid! Easy to follow why you are you making certain choices in your settings. I just bought myself an X35 last week and I’m still learning about the machine. This really helps and I will definitely try out these new settings on my next search!

Nice one Sid and I have been using the Deus Hot Prog for a while and double checking the odd find with Deep on 12k etc. I also find coil size matters too as I have searched an area with my 11" finding loads real low and slow and then taken my 9" over the same area and found even more. thanks a lot sid, after 6 months of using another program i thought that was as good as it gets, had a day with your set up today and i got about twice the targets i used to get! and much easier to read the metals once i got used to it. wish i'd seen your video when i bought the deus.. very happy in norfolk.

Many people don’t know this, but the deus does have a target depth gauge, it’s the horseshoe...the more of it that’s blacked the more shallow the target is ....so if you get that tiny black bit at the top it’s a deeper target . 👍🏻

Cheers Sid! I spoke to you the other night saying I'm struggling with 5.2 and my X35 coil. Used the Hammy before in 4.2 with good results. On a Roman sight this weekend so I'll try your Pro for the first time. Once again thank you for all the help.

I'm brand new to the XP Deus and I find most of this to be a mystery to me. I am mostly wanting to know where in the menu system all your adjustments are, so until I get the Deus in the next few days and can see how to select adjustments, I won't have a clue!! LOL

Hi Sid. Been using the hammy programme to great effect over the last 6 months or so. Thanks for sharing. I have a question though. I’ve just invested in a 9” HF coil and am curious what frequency you’d recommend running the hammy programme on? I know you say 17 on the vid but the HF coil can get right up to 54 odd. I think that’s maybe that’s a bit too high though and I’m thinking 28ish is about where I should be with this coil but interested in your thoughts. Cheers. Ian

P.S. the X35 coils go up to 25/28 frequency. Would you ever go up from 17.4?

Hello Sid I'm new to the xp deus only used it twice, I installed your program in my machine, used for the first time today. 1st coin YES a hammered it's so worn can't make out who it is.. The program is so good bit nervous using 4 tones but I'm Totally at easy with it. Thank you for sharing.. As of now the minelab stays at home xp everytime

My mate is running on 5.2 I am on 4.1 The 2 machines behave differently with this program . I have looked back through you old vid's and it gives the same settings for both platforms. The program appears to perform better on 4.1 Your thoughts please?
