Nice job!! I have one. Haven’t modified it but put some accessories on for safety and some cockpit additions like phone Mount mirrors. I love the bike, also love the orbiter to take my Kiteboard and 15m kite with bat and harness. Ah and a rock brothers bag with panniers that is way handy.

Good stuff. I wanted the XPedition, but I wanted a front shock as well. I look forward to watching your other videos, to see what I could do if I pick up this bike as well. Hopefully you're other videos show in detail what you installed, I want to copy some of what you did.

I don't see the point of folding as its a cargo bike. Already have folding bikes. Found some info on switching out handlebars. Seems fairly easy and cheap to do. I just really want lots of real estate for lights and accessories.

@@GarysE-BikeAdventures None on your end. It was an excellent video. Surprised the bike didn't have brake lights but I just bought one that senses deceleration so we will see if that is acceptable. I'm glad you mentioned this seat. I've had nine vertebrae fused since 1973 (LONG time) and bike rides without any sort of shocks can be brutal. This is only my second e-bike. Last one was Pedego but didn't seem to go long on a charge. I'm trying to figure why I'm not getting nearly what the chart says I should get. I'm in flat Florida. I weigh 205 and I have it in power assist 2 almost all the time and I pedal 95% of the time. Don't seem to get more than 70 miles or so with two batteries.

Interesting mods - do you have more information on wiring in extra batteries plus regulators? Having all that extra juice seems intriguing.

Man! You basically built your own bike with their frame...almost nothing is as they left it...haven't watched the whole thing yet but you fixed a lot of my issues with the XPedition... What front suspension did you use? Can it handle the weight of the bike?

Wow! I’m thinking about buying a cargo and your video has given me many good ideas. I do have a question, have you ever thought of adding a solar panel to charge the batteries? I know it might take a while it do it, but is it possible? Thanks again, you have an amazing bike. 😃

I have two batteries I am brand new to my bike it's the expedition. When I first go to ride I turn my keys on the batteries two on and I can ride with both of them on right?

@@brightwiccaorignal1 so the keys basically just locked the battery in and allow the battery to come out. It has nothing to do with the electrical part of it. Once the batteries locked into the bike. You don’t need to use the keys. But you need to wake the batteries up every time you ride the bike by pressing the little button so that the lights come on you must do it to both batteries or you will be running off one battery. Hope this helps if not ask another question.

can you talk about the front headlight that you have? I bought the upgraded light for my expedition and I don’t think it’s really very good and would like a better light. how is the brightness, and maybe even more importantly, the beam pattern on the light that you bought. I think you said it was from Rad?

Yes it’s a Rad light it’s a lot better than the best light Lectric makes and it 50 dollars vs 100 from Lectric. But honestly, none of these wired lights from any of these companies seem to work great. I have one bike and a put a 12 V transformer on and run a motorcycle light now that’s bright. how do you like the suspension fork? which did you use...? its literally they only reason i didnt buy their trike

I think it improved the ride a lot, I ride on the streets for the most part and there is a lot of potholes up here. I used a Bucklos fork and it did change the ride height and I had to add about an inch and a half to the kickstand, but I haven't hit my pedals since

im kind of a DIY-er as well but where does one source components? is there a e-bike mod magazine or anywhere like a website that i can see what is out there to mix and match? lately ive been tempted to hire a welder to make me up a frame for a quadricycle and was hoping to find a resource to be able to compare specs and prices of components... @@GarysE-BikeAdventures

@@brightwiccaorignal1 so the fenders come off a XPremium because that bike has 4 inch tires. I think I had to drill one hole in it that was it front fender bolt of right on. I actually told Lectric I bought a used bike they didn’t have fenders. Could I please buy them? They sent them to me for free because they’re an awesome company.

Derailleurs have limits in their cog teeth range; There are a ton of people when they buy bikes that do not know a lot of info when buying upgraded components for their bike. What urks me is having to share with those who are too lazy to do their own research in finding out about something when they desire to change something for the better. To the expression; CHEATING THEIR WAY TO THE TOP.

This tires are great they are quite on the road and also work great on the RailTrails I’ve never tried in sandy areas. There also a thicker than the stock ones, I paired them with super heavy duty tubes Tires amzn.to/3EcOESG Tubes amzn.to/3QX0Izl
