tip from necros i keep in mind with using swift strike to cover ground is to only do so when you have no intention to use it for the cd duration. Sounds simple but when i started, i used to swift strike to get back into the fight and have no way out after my deflect ended. Another necros tip that helped was to not spam cooldowns in an engagement, always make sure you have either deflect or swift strike to make a getaway, unless youre really confident you can secure the kill

Great editing and gameplay

Really great content! Just a little advice for some plays I noticed, you can maintain high speeds and feel more comfortable in kills if you dash to confirm a kill (in and out of blade) within a few frames of a shuriken or slash, as the game will register the initial damage and the dash as one but give you your dash reset with the dash damage on top. This paired with maybe a higher sens cos you seem comfortable in where to aim but are struggling physically to match the targets movement, so if you can fine tune it can give you a lot more options in team fights

this is an awesome video! if you want some advice i would recommend watching a good genji like noobhunter or another grandmaster genji and look how often they use jump and compare it to your gameplay.

something I saw for if you want to get better at genji is blade combos. like slash dash or dash slash with nano and dashing after 2 swings will let you get kills faster and let you get an extra swing with blade

i woke up one day, said “ima learn genji”. watched videos on him and just played. never played ow1 and had a few hours on ow2, went like 50ish Ws - less then 20 Ls, from bronze 5 to gold 1 in a week, would climb ranks in days by never dropping a game. now i have around 200 hours on genji alone (i’m a otp) and just hit masters 5 tonight. genji is definitely the hardest hero in the game besides someone like doom. every other hero is a child’s play. so glad i forced myself to learn him because if they have no counters to you, it’s a walk ina park. should learn him more, watch necros, shadder, hiku, aviates, pro genji montages. he’s super fun and honestly the only fun hero i personally have fun with. doing his combos (which you never talked about in the video) is SOO satisfying. amazing video too!
