Like the cutting effect with using Oxygen or Air? what gas did your machine be use in XPR300?

They used Oxygen and Air as this is mild steel

What gases were used for the bevels? Is it possible to cut the holes with the bevelled side to the bottom? Carbide overlay plate requires cutting with the carbide down and the large end of the bevel must be on the carbide side.

I always cut carbide with carbide facing upwards

@@shanedunne7210 You're contaminating the base plate by doing so. Any welding done on the base will require a grind prep to remove contamination before applying a weld.
