Big tip to saving your algorithm is to just scroll fast past them when you notice them. Or mark them as not interested. A few refreshes and you'll have new stuff. If you do this with most content you don't really "associate" with on your page you'll get more brainrot content. X keeps getting these because he sits in them for a little too long and the algo thinks it's what catches his attention

@@auratepes no you just need to start watching reels from a really good reel. instead of refreshing if you find a good reel post on your page and start scrolling the results are significantly better. I've never gotten a single flex reel. I also have a group for shitposting with friends though so that's an easy way to get good posts

03:00 i know xqc youtube comments arent the best place to look for scientific answers, but isnt this way of thinking assuming that we're in the middle of a perfectly spherical galaxy which we most likely arent so we can only actually see 13.8 billion years into the past in a sphere around us (what Im assuming is the observable universe)

You may be a bit confused about what a galaxy is? Or your terminology is just incorrect. There are billions of galaxies in the observable universe. Also ours is shaped like a spiral disk and we can see outside of it.

What you're forgetting here is that the universe is constantly expanding at an accelerating rate. This means that light particles emitted at a distance of 13.8 billion ly back then, correspond to a location in the universe that is now much further away. That's why the visible universe is a sphere with a radius of ~47 billion ly (for every possible location in the universe). The cosmic microwave background (CMB) however, dispersed all throughout the universe shortly after the Big Bang, enabling us or any other observers to detect it.
