The worst part is one of the major reasons he could’ve died that not many people talk about is due to a “safety” feature most modern cars including the BMW i8 have which is that it WILL NOT drive if one of the doors are open. It will automatically go into park. Now don’t get it twisted it’d be asinine to say that his uncle got him killed because he left the door open, I would never even suggest that as X could’ve told him to just run knowing they wanted him and not the uncle, and I don’t think anyone would ever stop and think “oh I better stop and close the door!” In an event like this where the more time you spend there the more danger you’re in. It’s also still speculation because maybe he wasn’t trying to drive off anyway. But it’s just extremely sad knowing that even if he wanted to drive away he couldn’t have. Which maybe is what he was trying to do was just drive off while holding the bag.

Remember I had just finished my freshman year, summer was just starting too. Worst way to start the summer, ruined a majority of 2018 for me.

I remember the day X passed like it was yesterday. I was 14 at the time and was getting ready to go to bed but I decided to scroll on Instagram for a bit. As I was scrolling, a video popped up about X, stating that he got shot (at the time there was no further info about his state). I started watching the video, and in it, someone ran up to a BMW i8 with its driver-side door open and a person inside who was slumped over and was seemingly unresponsive. After the video, I was quite skeptical, I mean, you couldn't even see any blood or "X's" face. Besides, we had just lost Lil Peep 6-7 months prior, and I couldn't accept that we might be losing X too. Soon after processing what I had just watched, I read some comments under that post and people seemed equally in disbelief. After scrolling and reading comments for a little longer, posts started appearing of news articles in which it was stated that X was shot and had died shortly after being transported to a nearby hospital. This was when reality kicked in for me. That evening I stayed up all night listening to X's music, and playing back in my head how I couldn't believe he was gone. You can call me what you want, but his music really meant a lot to me at the time and he was the one person who helped me feel less alone in the world. I'll be forever thankful to him for that. That's about it, I just felt like venting...

Remember being at work and it not feeling real. He helped me get through a lot when being depressed from a bad break up
