in those 2 games you mentioned you get hit by 99.9% of things swinging in your general direction the defenses and sustain you get completely mitigate those hits you usually die form 0.1% to 0.01% of the swings that you learn to look out for specifically like the giant hammer mob in d3 or bullsht mechanics in poe that you have died to previously that you know scale from multiple things the mobility in those 3 games and repositioning tools allow for a much more forgiving gameplay not to say poe is an easy game it's difficulty is in recognizing danger in a sea of clutter league is also not an easy game league is an accessible game but the learning curve in current days is beyond massive you could argue 10 years ago that league was an easy game the neutrals had dogshit mechanics they were extremely exploitable in mechanics and stat the balance was so out of line that it you would most of the time be carried by bad design choices instead of you doing well *caugh* dodge stat *caugh* but now league has a very massive learning curve and with the way the meta changes on a dime (although at a lesser extent for the past 5 years) the comitment required to "get gud" at league is massive quinn will have to play league for at least 300 more games to acquire the bare bone basics of the game like champions and their abilities and then thousands of games to start noticing trends and reactionary choices and then religious gameplay to maintain said skill level and knowledge we don't want him to play league because he can't beat league league will beat him and it's extremely boring to watch him play the novelty of watching an actual pleb at league will wear off in a month and he will start actively bleeding viewers at which point he would have sunk in months of his time into a game he won't enjoy playing league has an aging playerbase and it is very hard to get into without any fun modes that riot is religiously refusing to develop it's not yet dying and even when it reaches the point of dying it will take probably a decade for it to actually "die" and even if qunn were to play until that eventual death he would still suck at the game because league is not a game you can learn by only playing

@@Mohammed8778 that would be completely incorrect if league had the old balance in current days you would see the most op champions exceed 65% win rate people were extremely shit at the game back then and simple notions and tactics could easily carry you to diamond *diamond* which was far more prestigious and hard to hit back in s3 in current days most gold 4 players would be able to hit it the game has progressively become harder and the players have vastly improved with it making small balance discrepencies extremely impactful for an example adcs were not an active carry role until the dodge stat was removed so you could imagine that with the old balance system no adc champion would be pickable today let alone playable
