Welcome to Part 1 of Off-Road Day 2 at the Xross Hard Enduro Rally 2023, held in the scenic and challenging terrains of Zlatibor, Serbia. This video covers the first half of the second day of the event, which saw participants battle tough rocky stream sections, described as "brutal" by competitor Mario Roman.
Billy Bolt, who started the day with a 43-minute deficit due to a navigation error the day before, displayed strategic acumen and exceptional skill, maneuvering from 10th place towards the top. Watch as he tries to overtake "as many people as possible" before potential queues in two tough rock gullies prior to the service point.
Mani Lettenbichler also excelled, retaining his lead from day one with a measured and stellar performance. Despite Bolt's impressive comeback, Lettenbichler held a 25-minute overall lead. Hear his thoughts on the race so far and his strategy for the rest of the event.
