Great video! Interesting that all 4 of my conveyors are the same- none have the metal marking. I hope it's some change they made and not an error...

Thank you! That is interesting! Maybe they are all metal now? I could see that being an item they have to keep replacing for people who accidentally melted the plastic ones. Would be cheaper to just make them all metal and save their customers the headache.

Hi from Scotland 👋 thank you for making this video I followed it along as I built my conveyor😊 I have two questions. 1. In the box it came with a silver rod where does that go? 2. I started lasering a splashback last night, I normally do this by hand using my hand engraving machine but thought using a laser would be much quicker. It started of great then I noticed the glass wasn’t moving so I tightened it. This happened a further two times…..my conclusion was that the glass (shiny side down as I engrave the back) was too smooth and the rollers were not getting a good grip….do you think my guess is right? So my plan is to cut a piece of hardboard the same size as the splash back and lay the splashback on to that then run it through the machine so the hardboard is in contact with the bottom rollers. 😊

Hi! Hope all is well in Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Of course! The rod is for leather and paper cutting applications. I didn’t have any materials like that to test it haha. I haven’t engraved glass yet but I can see the rollers having trouble feeding that material. I think your solution is elegant and makes sense to me. Might need double sided tape to keep them together.

@@WoodNerds hey 👋 it’s cold but ok🥶. My plan worked, I went out this morning and purchased a 9mm sheet of mdf put the splashback on top and it worked like a charm 😊😊

@classonglass haha we recently got an arctic front so it was abnormally chilly here. That’s good news! Glad it worked out! I just watched your video on etching Taylor swifts face on a whiskey glass! Great video!
