Curious why you suggested to turn off air assist? Just curious why? I just realized I forgot to turn mine on yesterday. I had that fuzzy experience yesterday too lol. I appreciate that you shared your learning along the way.

Some people don't feel there is a need, however, I do find it a lot cleaner if I don't. As with engraving wood or acrylic, it blows it around. Unlike wood or acrylic, it won't affect the finished project.

have you washed any t-shirts and does the ink stay on after washing

Yes, we did a white t-shirt and a black t-shirt. Both have been through only about 3-4 washings, so I can’t tell you about whether the ink breaks down yet. We waited about 48 hours before washing to help the ink set.
