@@minilamma4879 Try not to use glass aquarium because it is real hard for you to carry when you wanna wash. Anyway for hamsters we no need to give them real big space like Guinea pigs. The space is 3x their size should be ok for them, just put a running wheel for them to exercise will do. Hamsters are more like lazy type compare to Guinea pigs and rabbits, most of the time you can see them spending their time sleeping. For Syrian hamsters we normally put 1 or 2 inside the cage as if not compatible both will fight until death, but for dwarf hamsters like Roborovski I can put around 20 of them in a 2 feet plastic aquarium with 1 or 2 hideout for preventing them to get injury if they fight. Plastic aquariums are cheap and also real easy to wash comparing to cage...... that's my experiences.

@@jasonlee1017 I have never had a Syrian before so I can't speak for everyone. But I am pretty sure that if the hamster's cage is only 3 times the hamster's size, it's not good. Because smaller cage size would cause cage aggression (territorial behavior due to small cage), and really stress the hamster out. I really suggest you to check out Victoria Rachael. She gives plenty of good advices even for long term hamster owners who had multiple hamsters before. Also she gives link to cheap AND good hamster materials in her video.

@@jasonlee1017 shit everything you said is ridculous. I don't know where to start. hamster is not lazy ok, they run several miles per night, they need a very large cage, for syrian: 100 cm up. or they will feel trapped and stressed. a cage that is just 3 times their size? Are you a prison guard and just trying to jail your hamsters? And you can never put two syrian together, why would you risk it? And 20 roborovski in a 2 feet plastic aquarium? I don't even know if you are serious. I hope you stop keeping animals.
