One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.

Only angle I can imagine Tesla thinking he’s good is if he thinks he’s not gonna go broke playing w the level of people on stream… he seems to enjoy putting people to the test too much. He’s so happy with himself when a bluff works. He has ridiculous high variance spewy playstyle but is kind of shocked when he loses. He understands how to play like 40bb poker.

Tesla is bad but two things. He is good a bullying weaker, less aggressive opponents and he is running quite a bit above reasonable expectation and that often leads to unorthodox play. When variance catches up with him he will lose a ton of $$$ really quickly unless he recognizes it and makes adjustments in which case if he is capable of that he really isn’t as bad at poker as it appears. We’ll see.

I can't for the life of me, understand why any one would go more then once, esp. if their ahead, your just giving them a chance to win half. I thought the purpose of playing poker was to win the other players money, not give it back.

Yeah why would anyone play anything lower than 25/50/50. Do you realize how stupid that sounds when you play 1/3? When they run it more than once they are just reducing variance so essentially making swings cheaper.

When a player raises real big or goes all in when they see pocket patrs or a flush draw on the board, you know their bluffing, cause if they had it, they will milk you for the rest.
