mei's compliment goes a long way, be proud. But like boothill is a monster in this mode, i gave my ruan mei and hmc to ff and bh still hits like a truck with pela holy he just needs a physical sub break dps to help him stack up and use his ult implant

Thing is with the break meta being pushed rn with boot and ff. Ruan Mei becomes ever more of the best character in the game than she was before. Goodluck on your pulls and hopefully you can snag the universal harmony god.

Ruan Mei is at least good in every team and best in slot in others, so yeah, you'll see her everywhere haha! That said, if you dislike her and/or want another character more, then skip her. Meta is nice and all, but not required. If you're struggling, then try getting better relics and exploit the mode buffs as best you can. For example, I use: Acheron without Kafka, Swan, or SW; Argenti without Huohuo; Ratio without Tingyun, Topaz, or Robin. Good luck!

If you have no reason to skip her, you can get her. She is a universal support for all types of teams. But if you dont like her or have someone else you want more, you can skip her. You dont need to feel pressured into pulling for meta reasons. If you can clear anyway, might as well not bother. I'm someone who pulled all the harmony units & no sustains so I get what you mean, cos I'd just be so stressed seeing everyone run Aventurine/Fu Xuan against all the hard hitting bosses & I'd be sitting there with my FTB praying for good rng. Gallagher is a life saviour tbh

Stressed? It's an easy single player game. Why the hell does that stress you out? It's just a game. If this stresses you out I'd hate to see what real world problems do to your mental health.

that is the reason why people always mentioned that Harmony units is more important to pull than any DPSes, bcs your team can be revolves around Harmony unit, while DPSes only shines when their meta/content revolves around them, especially Harmony units that goes beyond normal buffing aka. Ruan Mei (Toughness break eff), Sparkle (Skill Points).

She's very good and Ruan Mei banner is really good value. If you like superbreak teams I recommend you pull her.

I still use him on my Jingliu team most of the time, and when the enemies are just too ridiculous with their damage output, with Clara. But he has definitely lost considerable market value. His one special niche, stripping buffs off the enemy, is just not something the game requires. There were a few enemies on the Loufu that it was a strong counter for, but since Penacony we haven't had a single removable buff on enemies. Hoyo have been *on purpose* making every enemy buff unremovable. Maybe it's meant to keep Pela in check but it's affecting Luocha's value a lot. Gallagher is definitely the new golden boy among sustains. I honestly think he has higher value than Aventurine right now. At least for anyone who doesn't play Topaz+Robin follow up teams.

@@bjornnilsson2941For pure sustains Aventurine is leagues above Callagher, but sure Gallagher does have other qualities such as debuffing for Acheron and works well with the new break teams. Aventurine is still gonna be #1 if all you care about is staying alive. He does do a good amount of damage too even outside FUA teams. Oh almost forgot Aventurine does give a debuff every ultimate too for Acheron.

@@thegurlama7356 Yes Aventurine's sustain is likely a cut above everyone else, no denying he keeps his team alive very well. That is rarely the issue though I find. Enemies have started hitting harder lately for sure but most of the other sustains still manage to keep up and keep you alive. Especially Gallagher in break teams because the enemy tends to stay broken for a long time removing some of the need for healing. With that in mind I don't believe Aventurine is best in slot anywhere but follow up teams. Firefly with Ruan Mei, Harmony trailblazer and Gallagher is pretty easily the best team in the game at the moment. Acheron teams being a close second where Aventurine has to be E2S1 to be best in slot. That's why I believe Gallagher is at least on par with Aventurine in value, strictly meta wise. For casual comfort it's hard to beat Aventurine and Fu Xuan though.

@@bjornnilsson2941 Yeah I totally agree with you in pretty much all points. Acherons teams might be slightly better in AOE content where Firefly cant hit all targets at once but that might be it and that isnt even an issue for Firefly so the team with Firefly seemst to be generally the strongest at the moment like you said with Gallagher.

All they gotta do is add more enemies with that apply removable buffs to themselves. A lot of the elites get buffs from their ads (Deer, Argenti) so if your DPS is high enough you can stop the buff before it happens. The thing is that they won't do that while Luocha is the only 5 star who can remove buffs. If they add another 5 star that can remove buffs then they'll probably add more enemies where Luocha is relevant.

I always use ddd lol however I also like cogs because you can always get a 3 turn ult. The base stats suck but you have to give up a bit of attack for more hp. Also important thing about tingyun -speed buff for target after they use ult -extra 5 energy per kill for target If you take advantage of those 2 on top of her ult you can get some better results.

Jade xueyi will be my main comp regardless of its strength

I say go for it, even if one drops in 2.5 it won't be for 80ish days, with the next patch featuring a nihility and destruction character

You don't need to build Gallagher much to get a lot of value out of him. His talent trace is most important the rest of his traces can be left at lvl 7-8. I only have him at lvl 75 with lvl 70 lightcone and have used him on all content from MOC to Simulated Universe to Apocalyptic Shadow. The new break healer is not coming in 2.4 so you have a long time to wait and you might not even get them when they do come. Gallagher will provide value now which is more important there could always be better characters later on.

@@neoikake i know he's good, everyone saying so. But like i said a limited 5* sustain that has toughness break mechanics like him would outperform him most likely, don't want to waste time and mats building him if thats the case.

Aoen I think is better than ff lightcone. Haven’t tested it but less base attack too. And yeah e2 huohuo is definetly a good switch. The speeds really nice too

You would only need one more Copy of Gallagher then because you can choose him on the character selector for the Origami Bird Clash Event if you don't need the other three characters

A firefly team steam rolls the argenti phase like crazy

I used DHIL for Argenti

I ended up copying a friend. Used Guinaifen, Gallagher, Ruan Mei and TB. Idk why it even worked but whatevers lol

I ended up with Jingliu & Robin on the 2nd side. Surprisingly ate it up on my 2nd try

I actually tried this it works good. I put her on wind and vonwaq and she’s ulting a lot but her own dmg was nothing which it usually is in this team anyways.

Aeon. Misha at s3 I think is a good sub. Also with misha lc you really need tingyun to help the uptime.

I have to test it. It’s definetly not better than misha lc because it’s the same stats with 30 free crit rate. The vul doesn’t matter too much because xueyi wants to attack enemies with toughness anyways. So I think aeon will be better overall. Perhaps with hmc ff lc can squeak past but 4 star lc base attack to.

Half of the work was done by Gallagher. Just try this comp with Lynx and you'll see the difference. I love Xueyi but she is just a niche character who needs an insane amount of investments and perfect team and perfect (quantum weak) enemies.

@@latenter1428571 it was fu xuan as sustain not gall and hmc E6 and Ruan mei E1 and E6 xueyi. in battle my crit was 90/110 and 200 break at base before battle with all buffs I got to 490 I hit for 400k with ult while broken

Appreciate it! I’d probably go with htb. Very versatile and can buff boothill a lot in this mode because of that extra superbreak buff. Also probably needed for any superbreak team in the future.

Iron is probably better than thief but most likely quantum is still the best because xueyi does alot of crit damage. For boothill it’s definitely good even more so with hmc

I get what you mean. But at this stage in the game you’d prefer for your healer to do more than heal. Either toughness dmg and debuff like gallaher, dmg and toughness with aventurine, or buffs from huohuo. At the end of the day tho any healer works even my Lv 60 Natasha lol

I had to double up with luocha n Gallagher in second half to survive the apes. Aventurine on first 10/12 stars without RM, but I gotta beef up my Xueyi and TY to survive longer in 3rd phase

I’ve got some vids of those two. But I think most use Ruan Mei. Any break characters just want break efficiency so bad and only rm has it.

​@kolbyjerred5552 as of now, she's kinda glued to most teams as the universal support. However, if you're not dealing with really high toughness bars all the time, then Bronya/Sparkle/Robin for Xueyi and/or Boothill due their action advance to get them more turns to break. In terms of other sustain, classic ones like Fu Xuan or Luocha are still usable as SP positive characters, but don't offer much in terms of break buffs if you're looking for that.

Get ruan mei. She is infinitely more valuable than any other dps tbh not just ff.

The second Team is perfect. In the first I am confused. Because I thought Lynx was a free 4 star character and she generally heals more then Natasha and has a team wide cleanse with her ult. In my experience Pela with Lucas Lightcone gives your Acheron more Damage than welt. But welt also does good damage himself. I personally run Acheron, Pela, Ghallager and then Kafka (for Lightning weak enemies) or Welt for Damage and sustain. But Guineifen also works in the 4th Slot.

Having to use Natasha must be rough. I was about to call her Natalia cause I haven't used her in so long I forgot her name 😂 That's probably your biggest issue atm. At that point it could be worth at least trying to switch her out for March 7th, if you have the Trend of the Universal Market light cone for her. Together with Welt slowing the enemies and March's freeze it could be enough to keep you alive. Any hits that go to March will help stack Acheron's ultimate too. Ideally though you'd get Gepard from the standard banner, or wait for a limited preservation character or rerun. I don't have Boothill but I think that team sounds pretty good. The elements are all over the place but at least Boothill can implant for himself.
