DEAFENING Ground Shaking Departure and Arrival of RAF Typhoon at Liverpool Airport!

Hello everyone welcome back to my channel.
Today's video is from yesterday's Liverpool Airport visit for the one and only RAF Eurofighter Typhoon for the Southport air show. ZK352 a Royal Air Force Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon FGR.4 arrived Friday afternoon with another Typhoon from RAF Coningsby to stay at Liverpool for the Air show weekend. ZK352 is the only one been used this weekend and both will be flying back today (18.09.17) around 10.30 Am. It is always very nice too see these beautys and the first video on my channel is one of these from last year's Air show.
It departed around 16.30 pm and was back for just before 17.00 pm. The departure runway was 27 which meant it would land 27 so we went over to the approach area and got it doing a very fast overshoot and came back around and landed straight over us! What a noise and sight! Hope you enjoy the video!

I was standing next to the runway as this happened (couldn't believe my luck!) as I was taken a flying lesson. I've got to admit the Eurofighter had a little bit more power than my Piper PA-38 Tomahawk!

UK Trainspotting Hub The pilot would not be told to do a performance take off, every single aspect of that flight and EVERY flight is meticulously planned. No one craps themselves.

Esroh If a pilot quakes he or she wouldn’t get beyond basic flying training. THE most laid back people I have ever met have been RAF air defence fighter pilots.

I saw it at the Southport airshow in 2017. It came in low over the beach, the sound was epic and you could feel the beach shaking. As the sound of the jet faded, it was replaced by the sound of 1000 screaming children lmao 😂

I used to work for the RAF as a civilian on a maintenance unit. One job I loved was delivering the Avionics to the flying stations all over the U.K. The drop off was usually at the ESG right by the flight line. Very noisy but you were right near the aircraft with pilots and ground crew preparing for flight. I really was just a small cog in the big wheel of keeping the aircraft flying but proud to have done my bit, checking off spares lists lol!

in the late 90s I watched an F-15 demo. It flew down a runway, gear and flaps hanging out, then sucked everything up, went vertical and full afterburner. The damned thing visually accelerated vertically with a tremendous, unforgettable roar. The Typhoon, a magnificent airplane, reminded me of that, and as I understand it is even more powerful and more maneuverable than what has been dubbed "God'sown jet fighter".

It can definitely be argued that it is the most capable, manoeuvrable and performant of the 4th gen fighters and in terms of sheer power to weight it probably still is the greatest ever made. I've never seen in person or in videos a fighter that can leave the deck and start going vertical as the wheels are still going up, even the old 'seat attached to engines' EE Lightning had to take a little run up before going vertical.

Wow - that really depicts the thrust to weight ratio of the EJ200 (9:1 and there's two of them 😅) admittedly no ordnance but assume full fuel if carrying external tank too... That's just nutty performance!

The very first airshow I went to a few years ago (Southport) a Typhoon flew in from behind us then as it got in front climbed up, I've never heard or felt anything like it before or since. It made me swear a bit lol

The big bomb looking thing is an external fuel tank they can drop if they need to. No other weapons apart from guns if they are loaded with ammo. Its a peace time flight. So no munitions required.

I've watch Typhoons takeoff this close noise is very loud but not intense. Have you watched a B-1 takeoff that close its more deafening and shakes your whole organs

You guy's in the comments complaining about the noise yet noise never does any justice in vdieo's anyways, you can't feel the noise shake the ground as the jet passes. if you really care about the noise go search up airshow's near you. It will be worth it - otherwise there are other videos that have better jet noise quality but still cannot be compared to the real life sheer bellow it makes.

yeah the B1 has 4 engines that produce a total of 120,000 pounds of thrust, the typhoon has 2 which produce a total of 40,000. Never heard a b1 in person but I’ve been told they’re the loudest ever
