The song sounds legit and they performed it on music shows as a b-side to Egotistic, and the song is just them being upset and complaining about their tight schedules to the point that they diss each other for having the luxury of being able to sleep in the car. It's a great song.

For context, Solar and Wheein kinda had fun with how the company always make them film last so they have to sleep in the car, and their CEO loved it and suggested to make a whole song out of it. It's on stage but come on, Mamamoo's performance are superior to their MV!

I totally agree they have many different moods with their music. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think their agency has a big role in how freely they're able to express themselves with their music. With your reference to BLACKPINK, YG can't even let them release multiple songs a year (this year was an exception), they had to wait 4 years to be able to release a full length album, so I think the agencies play a big role in the artists ability to show multiple sides of them. Actually this song is not foolish, it's a strange way to deliver a non clear message but...the message is, Koran companies,and fans too value so much those cm difference like if 1 cm more can make you be a star and 1 cm less mean you are nothing and you can't be a singer.
