So. It finally came to this.
After 4 different themes and 2 battle themes, they've all finally come together as one. This was actually planned for a while now, due to the fact I have a battle involving these 4 in my comics, which you can read here: www.deviantart...
I made sure to include some of the things I liked about the two battle themes I did, such as Ink and Error talking back and forth and Nightmare and Dream rapidly fighting over the main melody. I made sure they all fight with each other at some point, and all their melodies are featured somewhere in the song. Ink and Dream have the most harmonies. Nightmare and Error also have harmonies, though fewer.
A breakdown of some of my favourite parts (though there's plenty more):
The beginning is call back to Dissonance, using Duality's melody.
At 1:00 Ink's theme kicks in with Duality's melody in the background, before Dream's instruments breaks into a back and forth between his theme and Ink's. They then split apart completely to sing their respective melodies.
I didn't want Ink and Dream to be seen as completely on each other's sides, as, despite them both trying to protect something, they're both protecting different things. Same with Nightmare and Error. They all have different goals and fight against each other at all points in the song.
At around 2:13, you might recognize the piano as the beginning of Nightmare's theme, and it serves as the interlude between the fighting as Dream faces down his brother. This is why Nightmare's theme starts to kick in right after, and I made sure to have Ink and Error comment on the approaching face off as the music ramps up, as though they're watching off to the sidelines for a moment before jumping back in.
The end (4:37) features a rapid switch between everyone's themes and instruments from Dream's to Error's to Ink's before ending with Ink's melody playing behind Dream's and Nightmare's and ending with Dream and Ink singing the final part of Ink's theme.

Everyone in the comment section be arguing about who's fighting who so I am here to explain: Dream and Ink are the closest to working together, but Ink wants to save the AUs regardless of the people and Dream wants to save the people in the AU regardless of the AU, so although they share the most harmonies, they are still at odds with each other. Obviously everyone knows why Ink v Error and Dream v Nightmare is happening, but Nightmare and Error are also extremely against each other because Error wants AUs destroyed completely, and Nightmare can't let that happen because it messes with his ability to get negativity. Ink and Nightmare are also very close to the same side in this situation which is why you'll hear Nightmare sing Ink's melodies sometimes. Though he still doesn't want him messing with the integrity of AU's.

It's not really a team up thing since even though Nightmare, Ink, and Dream are pretty close to the same side, they're still against each other, sure they all hate Error but they're gonna fight each other too. Ink might fight with Dream and Nightmare every once in a while, same with Error.

I just love the concept of ink, Dream, nightmare, and error fighting each other. Not to mention that this is a remix 4 different songs fused together. Even tho I came when the live stream half way done (i think) I still managed to make it!

Can we just appreciate the art? Like, from Nightmare's posture and look, you can clearly tell that he's tired, he just wants to end it. Dream, on the other hand, doesn't normally use swords so if he does in here, it must mean that he's really desperate.Meanwhile, it seems clear that Ink and Error are actually having fun fighting. Idk really, I just really love art and analyzing it. :V

From what I can tell, Error tried to blast Ink while Nightmare tried to stab him with his tendril. Ink dodged, while Nightmare's tendril got blasted. And Dream is trying to cut Nightmare down to size.

I like them all honestly... all your songs for them, and these Sans in general. I noticed some people seem to hate on one or the other but I can't bring myself to do that. I see both sides as sides that are needed. In a way, their fighting makes them all heroes in a way. Balance is required in all things, in life there is death, light shines and shadows grow, creation brings destruction, ect. Good and evil fighting in a way preserves the balance of the multiverse and in a way they're all good in my opinion. kinda rambled there but yeah I love your music! and this fits very well! keep up the amazing work!

(Hi I'm your personal stalker since you keep sharing these with the group) Someone gets it!!! All things eventually come to an end! Without order and balance there is nothing but chaos! Think of our "bad guy" group as population control, yes we're "vile" and evil and we like to fuck shit up but without us there would be no balance as you said. (Honestly people should look at both sides instead of seeing goody sans and thinking "oh yeah they the good ones i love those ones and hate the others" they're all needed to keep the balance but the bad guys always get the short end of the stick........ ¬_¬ On another note thanks for sharing these with the group we honestly love them. And thank you to the creator for making these themes! The Murder of Sans loves them!)

@@h3nta1k1ng2 Error canonly keeps no balance and destroys when he feels like it, and Nightmare is actively trying to destroy the balance of emotions constantly. I've rarely heard of anyone hating them, but neither of them are keeping balance. That's not the reason most people like their characters.

@@h3nta1k1ng2 Ohhhh your RP VRchat versions got called out! Defend your non canon honor dude! XD I understand the canon but even so by them fighting there is balance being preserved. I like various versons of them all too but there are also some I don't like as much like when people make Dream or Blue complete innocent beans that can't really fight. A lot of people have different takes which is honestly a beautiful part of the undertale community as well. There can be an endless amount of AU variants with the multiverse theory to... Like there are some people that have Dream and Nightmare reversed or Ink and Error reversed. The possibilities and creativity from this community is honestly very beautiful. And I have yet to meet anyone from this commun who isn't nice as hell though a good portion I have met have been friendly people from VRchat (chillin in Snowdin HD) annnnd I'm rambling again so I'ma stop here.

This is an absolute masterpiece. I love how all the previously established themes and sounds are at play here. It makes for such a good and harmonious intertwinement! It's a whole entire complex and carefully crafted fight scene, made purely through MUSIC!! *screeches of admiration* And, a thing I've noticed, though it's not something I'm completely sure of yet, is how the portion that Dream's instrument plays in autonomy from Ink's at 1:13 is a piece of melody that originally came from Nightmare's theme, not from his own. If this is true, it's like his battle against Nightmare in Duality left a mark on him. That's... deep. xXtha, I really admire your skills in composition and use of leitmotifs. You are legend.

Gosh I finally got my account and I ordered to do this Duty and *TRY* explained what going on with is good song OK ------------- 0:09 Sounds like dream has find nightmare. 0:20 Ink has joined the fray 0:26 Error randomly appeared and joined the fight as well. 0:30 Some flashes of Ink,error,dream and nightmare. ( like I'm the first *Underverse* trailer) with some cool speech of dream saying that he will bring is brother to the light and save him. 0:39 to 0:47 All if them prepare for a battle to the death 0:50 to 1:00 Dream attack nightmare with Ink acting as cover. 1:01 Dream has a a major hit on nightmare also trying to talk to his brother, OR it Ink Watching and monologuing while dodging Error string and red bones (probably) 1:13 to 1:16 This one is dream still trying to find a glimmer of hope, that nightmare can change 1:17 to 1:25 In the back ground it sounds like Ink and the main chorus is sung by Dream/ them teaming (only abit) 1:49 to 2:01 Error finally feels to use his attacks on dream instead of Ink 2:02 to 2:13 Sounds like dream are blocking and dodging his attacks 2:27 to 2:49 Dream is thinking that he can't do this, and can win yet he will still try and save his brother even is he dies is the process 2:49 to 3:25 Round *Two* of Dream v Ink v Nightmare v Error 3:26 Ink starts the attack on Error and Dream 3:37 to 3:51 INK AND NIGHTMARE *actually* works together! 4:02 to 4:35 Nearing the end of the battle and dream must keep going! With Ink attack Error and cover/back up dream. 4:37 to 5:00 The fight carrying on with neither side give up! 5:01 to 5:13 DREAM charging up for his final attack (One see in underverse when cross hold nightmare long enough before Dream can deal the "final blow" to nightmare) 5:14 to 5:24 Both of them be working together to fight Error, while Error is probably mocking them while dodging there attack with ease. 5:25 to 5:38 Ink pulled of a *X gaster* AND RESETED back were they came all from also *MAYBY* break the fourth wall and said Good bye to us how is watching and listening thus right now U_u
