1st Gen jvc xx wired earbugs were the best! Literally lasted me 7 years. Best bass I have ever heard.

So many things not told in this review.... Contra: During calls only the left bud can be heard. It is only Bluetooth 4.2. It doesn't automatically turn on when taken out of the case. Each time put back into the case the audio profile resets. It has intern volume setting. Volume setting resets every time. Right earbud can't be used without left one. No skip song on the budcontrols. The case looks like a broken boner in your jeans pocket. Pro Sounds good. Looks ok. Still regret the purchase because they are so inconvenient. I have to set up the volume and sound profile each time I put them in.

When I saw your video I was so grateful. I was happy that JVC was back on the scene! Me and JVC go back to bumping 6 by 9’s in the rear window, in the 1980’s. I ordered a pair on EBay. Unfortunately Fry’s was sold out. I’m excited to see how they sound! Thanks for bringing these to my attention. 👍🏼

I'm a long time fan of the series. I know the wire-in xxplosives are amazing at that price point ($14). SERIOUS Bass. Your car's system is in your ear. Great quality sound all around . The regular wireless give 5 hours of battery at only $50!

JVC I think, usually takes forever to design and produce new earbuds is because they care about the quality and not the quantity they produce

Well the buds arrived today! Everything you said about the sound is absolutely amazing! They sound really really good. They don’t get as loud as I would like but that could be a good thing because of hearing damage. Am I pleased? Would I buy them again? Yes indeed! Just received them. I also have a pair of fx102. It is my first pair of wireless buds and to he honest, I don't know if this is a wireless thing, the volume is low, pathetic even.... I imagine you would take these for running or into a gym where is a pretty loud bg noise. Fully charged and even with the "bass" option enabled it still cannot overcome the exterior noise. That being said, the actual sound quality is good and they do not fall out of my ears, I tried everything and they stay glued. Case looks nice, pairing works fine and signal is also good. I'll return them tough because at this price I prefer to wait a bit more till someone can get something with a higher volume on the market. EDIT: My mistake, they have a volume on the actual headphone, by clicking the button on R twice is vol up :) THEY DO HAVE VOLUME, LOTS OF IT!

Tried it, the bass is very strong and punchy! Even slightly stronger than jbud and jam ultra. But i think the one i owe is good enough, jvc still good earbuds anyway.

These seem geared towards people that workout considering their design and bass boost feature but I can't seem to find any ip rating or mention of water/sweatproof. Also, they use bluetooth version 4.2 and micro USB which is really disappointing in 2019.

I remember having blue JVC wired earbuds when I had my 4th Generation iPod Nano, and those lasted me 3 years at least before an earbud started to go out. Not the best earbuds compared to other wired earbuds, but I guess the nostalgia is why I remember JVC so well. Those were good times. But enough of my rambling haha! Great review!! How was the call quality? And was there any video latency, if any at all?

I tried a lot of different earbuds over the years, LG Beats Sony Skullcandy etc. But JVC's wired or wireless sound better than all of them. JVC gets overlooked & they don't seem like a top company sometimes. They've been in the sound game for years though. And their earbuds cost less & definitely sound better than every other brand I've had so far even Beats

I bought them for $40 on black friday. Truly a steal! They're the first wireless earbuds i bought and the quality is insane. The only problem i have is that there is delay thanks to using bluetooth instead of a cable i was used to, so for watching video's it might throw me off sometimes. But for audio in general its great! I at least wont run into the problem of my headphone jack ruining one part of the headphones (like left side stops working). This cost me alot of money because cables/headphone jacks used to ruin alot of expensive headsets for me.

I am though wireless headphone version of these they're newer model they sound really good too at the bass boost mode these ones are reviewed in this video I want to buy next but you're the first person to see a video reviewing these

Holy shit i just found out about the bass mode. Its tricky to activate though you have to play audio while activating bass mode otherwise it wont work

They sound but that's about it. They look and feel extremely cheap. The battery life is bad but worst of all (this maybe just my pair) they are temperamental when charging. Having to sit and wait for the red lights on the buds to turn on indicating they're charging to later find they turn off is frustrating.

3 hrs of battery is terrible, especially for a power user......that's a deal breaker for me, no matter how they sound....at a $100 price tag, they need to come way better than that in terms of battery life 🤷🏾‍♂️

I just bought JVC earbuds, I don't know why people love it. I found it feels so inconvinient because the eaebuds going to deep into ears compare to another type of earphone.

JVC HA-FW10000 is the official #1 IEM in 2018 by votes (in Japan) and yet no one really heard about that brand name here on KZfaq? Perhaps, it costs $1700. Or maybe it's like no one heard about Facebook and Google in CW's Flash universe. Anyway, just a quick question these aren't the Spiral dots tips right? Those usually sell by themselves but greatly improves fitment and audio quality, maybe even better tuned for in-house gears.

I bought these and the sound is really clear and a deep bass like he says. And they sit extremely well in the ears there no way that they will fall out. But for me the stupid app is not working I can not turn on bass mode so I don't get the full experience and that sux. Any body else with this problem?

Also, I guess it’s not Bluetooth 5.0, since you haven’t mentioned that either. What’s the IP rating again? Look, I respect JVC. They are a great brand, and I am sure that the sound quality is up there with the best of them. However, for me things like the IP rating is important (something you didn’t mention). The battery life (compared to others on the market) is a deal breaker for me. The product looks very clean/discreet and smart, but in this case functionality and technology is key (something that is left to be desired, judging by this review).
