tyman657 I have been playing for pretty much exactly 4 years now and I think the best way to improve your speed is to play the song at a slower speed you can handle and then work your way up slowly. If I play something I can't keep up with, I usually slow it down to maybe 60% and learn it. Then I just work my way up to full speed. Sometimes that might just take minutes, sometimes that can take many hours depending on how hard or fast something is.

Xyber out of curiousity, what is the bare min specs including moddinging it down to be able to. ( i have a schoolwork craputer) Can i mod down the specs od the game to play on 4gb of ram and a celeron 3050?

Whatever GPU might be in that thing is definitely too crappy to get the game to run very good at all. And the CPU is way below even minimum requirements for the game. I just don't think it's possible to get it to a playable state on that thing.

If you have a guitar with single coil pickups, they will make more sound than a guitar with humbuckers. You can also try recalibrating the guitar and not playing it super loud. Can probably also mess with the dB slider manually and lower it a bit and see if you get less noise.
