Hi, did you try using the Iradium spak plugs. I used it on a Santro with CNG and ran for about 60k on the same spak plugs and still going strong before i sold the santro with the same spark plugs at 95k kms.

Sharing my experience with Check Engine Light problem in my Wagon R 2007 retro-fitted CNG. After watching videos, used to drive car on petrol for few kms after which the check engine light would vanish. Recently, the light would be constant even after driving on petrol. Got the throttle body cleaned completely {NO SPRAY USED) and after a few days there is no sign of the check engine light. Hope this helps !

I have fitted Highrise OBD2 kit in my i20. No check engine light since day 1. Ab tak 6 mahine ho chuke hai. I think Lovato, Highrise jaise kit lagane se nahi aati light kyuki wire cutting kam hota hai

I also drive i20 cvt with CNG, this is the best combination a consumer can get. Companies should also do some R&D to give it as fuel option in cvt cars.

Raviji & Abhijitji, I must really appreciate you both for giving such realistic information, which I have not seen from anyone till date. Yes I also agree that within 1 year there will be no difference between Petrol, Diesel & Cng. This is all our govt policy to attract middle class person's once they seems target active then hike rates this will apply to future EV vehicles also. They know once you habitat then u will pay for it. Thanks again u both.

Have a Corolla Altis 2012 6 speed manual with Lovato obd2 kit And 18kg tank(recently fitted) Gives 200kms with spirited driving in city(Ac) Gives 250kms with spirited driving on highway(Ac) Gives 300kms with spirited driving without Ac Driven around 10kms zero problems till now Power loss is zero as it is 1.8L engine

Is it legal to retrofit CNG kit on petrol cars considering the new verdict of supreme court for CNG fitting laws as they have already declared that company fitted cng will be allowed and also tell something about fitment of the same.

Kindly check for EGR sensor there are parts available for sensor so your check engine light will go off.

Bhai CVT main ecu work nai karta hai.. rpm pe kaam karta hai.. ecu amt main work karta hai. average driving pattern pe set hota hai... Main diesel CVT amaze main 28 Tak nikalta hu . highway per.usi gaadi ko koi or chalaye to 20 se 22

As far ground clear goes for Honda City same as Honda Civic in US, I drove for over 156K miles in USA which is equivalent to 235K kms, I drove in Missouri, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virgina, I am telling you so that you know I have drove it on very good road not in tier 2 states, I always had the issue on highway when you are passing over bridges at 70 MPH, 70% of times it touched bridge. CVT is worst thing they have done to the cars, they have become very sluggish, and I have seen many cars where the CVT strap breaks while driving when the car has mileage between 80K to 100K miles.

Is ground clearance really a concern in city(sedans obviously have low)..bcz roads are now far better and mid segment suv have started dominating the maket recently but sedans were dominating when the roads were even worst. So is it witty to go for suv just bcz of ground clearance?? Really confused b/w mid segment suv and sedan just bcz of gc (no particular reason to go for suv otherwise) Ravi ji please i would like your comment on this..??

U spoke my mind , I had this question in my mind when I purchased used honda city back in 2020 but since than am j just loving comfort of sedan car , to be precise honda ivtech experience n comfort, though bad road patch does feel for a while but most of time I am at peace while drivingmy car. I too had fascination of mid size better looking compact suv , no doubt they look big and premium but can't match a "sedan" comfort and spaciousness
