Hi Sharmila, Thank you for sharing this video. Some of the stories are correct but, still lots need to explore. Kalviyankadu is my hometown and I studied Senguntha Hindu College , Jeffna Central College, Kokuvil Technical college and University of Jaffa (1965 to 1984). Still I have my memories of the hometown eventhough I am away from my hometown last 30 years. I hope you can make another video with better information. Thank you. 🙏

Yes some informations are wrong Kalviyankadu is far away from Nallur Sengunthar are living in Batticaloa, Trinco, Mulliyawalai Karaveddy, Poonakari etc Saddanathar sivan temple is build by the kings named pararajasekaran, Segarajasekaran They are the ancesters of Sengunthar most of them are ayurvedic physicians (Ramasamy, Ratnasabapathy also their decendents

Kalviyankadai senthavarkal Kaikullar ( nesavu) செய்பவர்கள். Kalvijankadu, நெல்லியடி, madakallapu, punakari, pulliyavalla, * இந்தியா சில manakangal illum இருப்பார்கள்!!!

I like to give some corrections to IBC tamil Senguntar are living in notonly Nallur they live in Baticaloa,Trinco, Mulliyawalai, Karaveddy ,kodikamam etc Sengunthar goththiram is Nandi gothiram not siva gothiram and they are saththirier that means rulling kingdom

The story about Kalviyankadu is not a complete one , The place you have showed in this program is Nallur and part of Thirunelvely East .. So the title is first wrong, second about a community if you wants to talk about it , you have to find a right person to talk about it. Mr. M .Uyhayasri who talked about the community he missed a lots of their facts . I have seen in your program Mr .Nagarajah (who was a retired principal of Senguntha Hindu College belongs to that community) , you should have given a chance to him to talk about it . This program sometimes mis lead the young generation . That's what I found out. Sorry to say.

Kalviyankadu is not connected with Nallur Rajathani Nallur Rajathani was ruled by Senguntha muthalys Next place to nallur is Thirunelvely east After Thirunelvely only Kalviyankaadu starts Sengunthar are the ancesters of J affna started from 17th century These Senguntar are not restricted in nallur and poonagari only They are living in several places Like Trinco Batticaloa Mulliyavallai Karaveddy etc

There are some wrong informations given There is no connection with Kalviyankadu Next to Nallur there is Thirunelvely After that only kalviyankadu starts Sengunthar lives not only in nallur , They lives in Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Mulliyawallai, Poonahari , Karaveddy. etc. They are the ancient citizens lived from 17 century. Saddanathar sivan templete was built by the kings Saththiriyar means They were the rullers King Pararajasekaran, Segarajasekaran finally Sangliyan When Portugegese came and attacked Jaffna kings Thosle days rullers didnot have bombs or guns , They were boiling oil in a big vessels and threw to the portugese people It happened inside the Saddanathar sivan temple This temple was built by the kings Sengunthar have close connection with Nallur murugan temple They have the written deed to do Kodicheelai and Surasankaram etc The Temple authority have to send Mealam to accompany the divine cloth ( koddichcheelai) and Navaveerar for soorasankaram including Veeravakuthevar(Story says he is the younger brother of Murugan After Portugese started ruling They condemmed rulling people Even Arumuganaavalar also supported Portugese and put doen sengunthar because of jeolous . Arumuganavalar was from Suthravarnam THere are 4 Varnas, Starts from Bramma, Saththiria, Vysia, and Suththira. IN suththira varna only all caste system created It comes under Siva gothram Sengunthar not included with them because they belongs to Nanthi Gothram(Jaffna flag is Nanthi kodi) The proffession of rullers were Ayurvedic doctors Notonly Ramasamy Ratnasabapathy there are many Ayurvedic pariyaries were there .
