其實個人感覺最重要的是心態，想真正融入新文化要對新事物持開放願嘗試態度。遇過一些移民的非中餐不吃，電視要看中文的，不是説不可以吃中餐看中文，很多白人也偶然吃中餐，但這樣非中不吃不看，肉身在外國，靈魂卻困在香港，這樣的生活是蠻辛苦的

作為一个敎英文的頻道，令我驚訝的是中文説得很好。聽过很多youtuber每句都是以“嘅”字為結束，兼且語速太快，句子之間不停頓。贊!

其實係香港教學要求學生講英文不可以錯，習慣了這想法後，就會怕講錯。但如果去過不同地方會發現其他國家的人，只要你能講已覺得你好叻，講得好就更好。 日日槷Starbucks買coffee，這樣來習慣聽英文。日台就去7仔那類。

我在纽约把大学都读完了，英语也不流利。英语要流利只有一个办法，唯一有效的办法，就是：多和外国人讲英语，多说才行，没有其他方法！

一家四口舉家移民去英國，我年紀都唔細，所以要用更多時間去學英文，我好鍾意重複睇妳嘅片。

我認為最好的年齡移民外國是十二至十三歲左右，因為此年纪已經掌握基本中文，然後移民继續中學課程，年青人容易適應，到了出來做事時两種語言都會，對前途十分有利

Good suggestion Maggie: ie get a good grammar book and start early. My own personal experience is: don't try to memorise all the tenses by rote learning, just flip through the book when you have a bit of free time and pick them up bit by bit.

I also left HK about the same age.. a couple months after F1.. It was difficult to assimilate into the new environment; but, I just stopped all the translation from Chinese to English in my head and just started my thought process in English.. then I became much better in daily dialog communicating with others.. 😁

I love watching your videos although I can speak Cantonese but I am not so good. At the same time I can brush up my mandarin too. My mandarin is also not so good. I take your lessons as a revision for myself. I love your Cantonese accent and the way you speak. In Kuala Lumpur, the Capital of Malaysia, there are girls who speaks Cantonese like you too. By the way, I am from Singapore. Don't worry about the negative comments, you can't please everyone! Not everyone likes the Buddha and Jesus Christ when they were alive. So no need to take it to heart ♥! Cheers!

I like your channel ! My younger sister family moved to U.K. last year . My niece moved there at Grade 7 and my nephew moved there at Grade 3. Their cases are similar with your sister and your case . They are in wales , not in London . I agreed with you that it is easier for learning 2nd language where there are not many Chinese / Hongkongers in London , Manchester 🤓 I shared this channel with my sister ! I went to study in Australia at the age of 20. My friends are mainly Malaysian Chinese and Chinese Indonesian, I don’t have HKer friends at all. 就像鸚鵡學舌般 and I can speak s’apore accent and Aussie accent. My friends don't believe I'm from Hong Kong! Age is not a problem, as long as you put effort and study hard, you can be successful. 年紀從來不是一個問題，只要努力付出，凡事可成功。

Fluent English? It depends very much on the individual. I had a colleague who came from Shanghai and within a couple of years, she could speak almost like a local, but her husband was hopeless, couldn't shake his Chinese accent even after 10 years.

My dear, 你講的是美式英語；不過就是像我幾十年前返香港做事時，我有個英國同事，佢對我說我的英文很好，不過我是 “hiding behind an accent”; 我不是味兒，但是我記住（其實你都是一樣）；那時再過了差不多二十年，我往英國念法律，苦學「正式」英語（正式 meaning RP 或是 southern English accent or standard English) , 才能真正知道唔係下下捲起條脷，用濃烈的鼻音，個 R 音就落重口味，便「扮」美式英語；因為普通交際應酬簡單就冇所謂等你公眾面前阿姐講聲嚴肅的討論一定會走光的！ 我想成人學英語一定要先學 phonics 兒歌開始，大家不要氣餒；這個過程唔會好耐的；但係大家若果有興趣有心機的話一定可以講「正式的」英語了🙏

我移民也卡住了。等了6年多了，还在等。不知道又要等多久。我英语能力不知道怎么样。我也对着外国人我都有点害羞，会讲不出。只有喝醉了英文会流利哈哈哈。不过我35岁了。估计过去还得去学校学习英语吧，幸亏还是有英语基础
