Hi I have a new Cayin A-300b Mk II integrated. Why when I turn off amp I hear pop sound through my speakers?

Normal as long as it’s just a pop or two when you flip the switch off

@@michaelhelgeland4588 Yeah I found out from Cayin designer that's it's normal 😊

This is common sometimes on power down, power up, or both. It's the magnetic field in the output transformer/s collapsing when the DC power is either removed (turned off), or expanding when applied (turned on) to the primary windings.

@@fredflintstone8048 I figured out problem. If I don't use the -3db feedback switch pop sound is not there! Thanks ☺️

@@locmanw1583 That's interesting. Similar problem. Feedback usually comes from the secondary side of the output transformer and is fed back to the early amp stage. It sounds like that while you still had some voltages on the amp stages that the feedback signal during the collapse of the transformer field was fed back and amplified giving you the final 'pop'. Running without feedback can give you more power but usually at the expense of higher THD.
