thats right there mate, i agree..Sadly its just the way it is now. When i was growing up Mtv was the shit cause it'd play so much underground stuff as well as the mainstream stuff but at least you could navigate yourself towards decent record labels. Now its on the internet its harder to find stuff so praise be KEXP indeed and others like it.

Maybe not bass, but the drummer who used to be part of Covet (Forest) always had a massive smile. KT from Elephant Gym doesn't smile so much as she's so concentrated, but in their kexp video she gets so into it during a breakdown she intentionally throws off her monitor headphones so she can headbang while playing. It's an amazing moment.

A few albums on 2666 I discovered and really enjoyed: - Tatvamasi - "Parts of the Eternity" (2013) - Kahil El'Zabar & David Murray - "Spirit Groove" (2020) - Prefuse 73 - The Failing Institute of Drums & Other Percussion (2021) - Chlopcy Kontra Basia - "Oj Tak!" (2013) - YĪN YĪN - "The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers" (2019) - Rizomagic - "Voltaje Raizal" (2021) - Mount Maxwell--"The People's Forest (2021) - Julian Lage--"World's Fair" (2015) - Slow Attack Ensemble ‎- Music For Turntable, Guitars and Sampled Instruments (2020 - Album) - Marilyn Mazur, Josefine Cronholm And Krister Jonsson ‎- Flamingo Sky (2014) Enjoy!

You're using coconuts! You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' 'em together.
