英國大選專題｜港人最關心咩議題？五大黨候選人點睇對華政策爭取MPF

英國大選將於本月4日舉行，大選原則上每5年舉行一次，新來英國的BN(O)簽證港人對大選認識有幾多？港人關心的議題又是甚麼？大選結果對BN(O)簽證政策有沒有影響？各黨的對華政策、立場又是甚麼？《追新聞》在選前收集了一些港人關心的議題，發電郵詢問各黨的回應，雖然直至截稿仍未收到各黨回覆，但本平台記者走訪了其中兩個港人聚居的熱門城市修咸頓（Southampton）及雷丁（Reading）的選舉論壇，看看各黨候選人怎樣解答港人的疑問，好讓大家在投票前更了解不同政黨的立場。
本平台分別在修咸頓、雷丁及倫敦進行港人街訪，共50人，僅有一半人完全答對英國大選是投票選下議院議員。英國大選分為650個選區，每個選區選出一名議員進入下議院。大多數候選人都是政黨代表，但也有一些是獨立人士。得票最多者獲勝，國會最大黨的黨魁將成為英國首相，並按君主要求籌組政府。
在街訪結果中，香港人最關心的議題有對華政策、英國BN(O)簽證的政策會否改變、BN(O)港人移民的權益及平權、教育和稅收及政黨如何助港人取回強積金（MPF）等。

Only from their words I heard from 14:52 as long as it is global, they may have ways to deal with them, but I am not sure manulife in canada. But like what you said, it is not easy even with HSBC, it will not be 100% successful on this topic, I guess u understand that and I think the same. As their leader has the experience on freeze asset from big corp, for me they are strongest candidate on this in my opinion. For me at least they have do the homework, talking actual stuff, and the recognition of HKER, their attitude win a lot.

@@RobinsonTerry-z4o I know that hsbc is not something people get really proud. Their practice from start has been shady smugglers and colonial illicit drugs from oriental. As for standard chartered the African to singalore plantation and extinct animal trades. These two should be cleared up once and for all. Now they are doing the equivalent to the monies of Jewish refugees in Swiss banks in ww2. We are all tired of banks working for tyrannies.

@@Youmehaya Hong Kongers should learn from the Ugandan Asians who were forced out of the country by the dictator Amin. Those Asians never asked for any special attention; any extra funding for their community; any demand to the UK to "get back what they had in Uganda" etc. They never boast how they would "contribute" to the UK or that the UK was "lucky to have them." Those Uganda Asians were a roaring success, becoming one of the most accomplished, successful, law-abiding ethnic group in the UK Pritel Patel, one of their member, became Home Secretary and many of them became highly distinguished in many fields including politics, the law, medicine, industry, commerce, civil service etc. If we continue to moan and ask for this and that, people would get sick of us.

其實黎到只係為咗做一件事，在此安居工作，所以只有一個黨派係話會好好地支持BNO的話，已經無需再去選擇了。難道你會選擇一個話會有機會和中國合作，而且會加以控制移民數目為剩零的政黨？

@@yjcyu Will vote for Reform UK, as they aren't anti immigrant like HKer, who are compatible with UK culture, speak English and work to contribute society. please do not over think, I heard they will still allow the one who will integrate, they are targeting non-essential, ***non-essential is mainly on worker and study dependant***, as I heard in their question time/rally/interview. Imagine why you have to bring your mum/relative when study...... it will only put stress in the NHS. Also, BNO and Ukraine is humanitarian route. And they are the only one who can against CCP.

However that is not what they say, they said the EU, the organisation that is require UK to take up illegal immigrant, and because of ECHR, UK not effectively against illegal immigrant. Second, They mentioned to stop non-essential immigration in their manifesto, which BNOers and Ukrainians is in humanitarian route. They will reserve essential immigration. @@htl7402 Not really for him, so far I can see, the local people like him, as he is super consistent for many years, he raise the concern on Brexit, mass immigration, until now, but he hasn't changed, even people misunderstand about Brexit, thinking it was his fault instead of conservative party betrayal. I must agree your words is greatly appropriate for most old party and politician, their switches of stance is beyond imagine. You can see how media attack him, put words to his month.
