Hi, thanks for the video. It was very informative. Does the school zoning concept apply to kindergarten as well?

I'm glad you find it helpful! School zoning only applies to primary and secondary school, it doesn't apply to kindergarten.

Hello! I am a grade8 student going to grade9 (Going to year10 in ESF's system). I want to insert into one of ESF's high schools and had already submitted my application a few weeks ago. Though, I still have not received a response and am worried about whether or not I'll be able to receive an offer for further interviews or assessments before the new school term starts for my current school (Aug 15). I would like to know what are the chances that I may receive an offer from ESF (中上average grades, fluent bilingually) before the new school year starts in aug2022? I haven't prepared any materials for my current school yet and I'm scared that I wouldn't have much time left, so I hope to know the chances, I've gmailed ESF admissions myself a few times but their response wasn't helpful). I desperately hope to insert into one of ESF's schools and is okay with any highschool in the ESF community. Another thing is that I would also like to know if would ESF let me know if other schools that I did not put in as alternative schools have spaces or chances for me to interview. I put in SIS and KGV as alternative school choices while IslandSchool is my school of zone, though I wouldn't mind going to ShatinCollege if they have available spaces and if I met their requirements, just hope to have a response ASAP. Thankyou, and if you could advise me on what I should do or what I could do to enlarge my chance of acceptance, I would appreciate it a lot.

大部份幼稚園的評估方式都是觀察學生和家長及老師的交流，所以除了評估學生也會看家長的。英基的債券是他們錄取了學生後一定要讓家長付的

其實唔係㗎，普遍來講，若果你遞交左申請，學生嘅成績操行都正常，國際學校一定會比入學考試機會你。至於有沒有面試機會，就有要睇吓你入學考試考成點，正常情況我唔會建議家長先買債券才申請學校，因為學生可能有機會通過正常入學考試，面試都會被學校錄取。除非你係申請一啲非常挑戰大嘅學校，例如香港國際學校，漢基國際學校，弘立書院等等，而學生已經通過咗入學考試及面試，但被放在候補名單，在這個情況下，可能買債券就能夠打動到學校將學生從候補名單放進錄取名單裏面。
