Non stick pans are highly toxic and cause cancer. Highly not recommended.

Neer dosa requires that the pan be very hot when the dosa batter is spread - this level of heat is not recommended for a non stick pan - the teflon coating begins to burn - better to use traditional iron tawa. Once you start making dosas often the tawa will get seasoned and dosas will lift more easily.
