There’s a panda cam showing her 24/7. Her birthday was this past week. Plenty of footage showing her eating on that day. Your outright lies and fearmongering are disturbing.
Thank you for this video. I was so curious how Ya Ya is doing. She look so good now. Got nice fur and she got bigger. She needs to gain more weight to get nicely fat and round. So happy to see her doing so good.
Chinese American here who is not only appalled by the treatment of Yaya by the Memphis zoo but the overall disregard from the general American populace of an innocent animal due to poor sino-american relations. In brief, the narrator here is describing the main steps towards Yaya's recovery and how they were gradually giving her stimulation by hiding her shoots in obstacles. In addition, they carefully observed her progress, noting how she simply lifted herself up the side of a platform rather than taking the ramp. The absolute care and regard towards YaYa's recovery is incredible and I hope they continue to break down barriers. China is absolutely the most improved country by leaps and bounds and rather than lashing out in jealousy, Americans have a lot to learn. I hope China keeps improving and ignores the anti china biases dominant in the news today. China will win a lot of support by expanding such excellent care of pandas to all animals, even the not so adorable ones. Animal lovers the world over will then ignore geopolitical relations and support China once they realize their country's own deep-seated biases. I hope the government will consider this in the future.
