This fight is unique because it requires you to switch skills mid-battle, a tactic not seen in any other boss encounters. Stay consistent in using iframes to dodge attacks, and you will succeed.
P1-P2 = 2 shields
P3= dps-aoe-pushback
P4=2 blocks

Its worth noting that the line of projectiles he fires from phase 2 onwards can be easily avoided by standing directly in-front of him, the projectiles will miss you every time so you can greed more dps, the waves he fires in phase one can be avoided by strafing right, then left after the first one, nice to know if you have no shields off cooldown for whatever reason.

It's usually more DPS to trigger the defensive spell, than it is to dodge the projectiles. Especially with scholar blood. But other than that, correct.

Solo is the way to go since the boss gains additional moves in co--op, don't give up until the job is done, good luck to you.

Co--op is much harder as well because the scaling of his health also does not scale in accordance with the possible dmg output of the players that are part of the fight. So that leads to much longer phases in general and the fact that he has the ability to teleport all over the place, which makes the fight way way way harder. Because you cannot predict where he will be like you can when you are solo. I have so far killed him on brutal Solo and as 2 player, currently trying 3 man XD

Yup this is how i beat him too before i saw the video. Didn't need to swap away from Greatsword at all even.

same, but i used the whip most of the times, cause i didnt have the legendary GS but i had the axe and whip on legendary and the burn effect, helps a lot to push more dmg or dodge to the side and still deal dmg, i like the whipe :D

Maleficer Scholar Chestguard + 3 x Dracula's Shadow + Soul Shard of the Winged Horror

How do your jumping with the sword ? For example at the end of the red circle P1

he is using the Greatsword weapon (not the sword), you unlock it with Tristan. The Second weapon spell (default hotkey: E) is the jumping up to get around 0.75s of no-dmg-time. Very useful to dodge AoE's or spells that cannot be blocked or dodged. E.g. for Adams last phase when he jumps up and charges down on you, thats a safe escape + dmg follow up

ahahahahah easy way! ))))) easy way from the author. remember all Dracula timings, all the attacks patterns and all the movements. block all this attacks. you also need to upgrade all your weapons to legendary. and play them like a piano player. after that it will be an really easy way)) btw nice kill video

There are Relaxed and Normal mode, you are welcome to try those.

Yeah don't expect Brutal to be "easy". Best fight of any game i have played over my 30 years as a gamer.
