Hey TMR watching the replay.. I have as a teen mom of 2 girls started out needing assistance had a low income apartment and got assistance but I give praises to God for all the blessing he bestowed on me and my girls. I went from federal housing to section 8 got a house on section 8 and I was able to get a job that put me in another income and was able to get my own house and pay rent and I raised my girls Im not saying it wasn't a struggle but I thank God that I was able to use it as a stepping stone so my girls saw there mother work and move to want more for myself and them and I'm not going to act like I didn't have fallbacks but I thank God I was able to show them more they are 22 and 21 and have no kids and they are living and thriving so I know what's possible because I was truly a single mother.. Good luck to anyone out here trying to make it no judgement do what is going to make you better!!

I have a family member who's raised her 3 kids, the youngest is a teen on government assistance. I'm not to judge,to each its own..but other family members have judged her throughout the years.. they say, wouldn't you feel better if you paid your own way amongst other things.. she be like .who am I trying to impress,other people that ish, bleed, and are going to pass away just like me... She gets a check and a little child support..she's has a decent SUV..she actually lives in a nice section eight home..now I don't know how long this will last but she's been in it for many years now..
