Thanks for checking out this unboxing experience and product review of the Yaber Car Jump Starter 2500A /23800 mAh power station. For me it's a must when out and about off camping on your own, broke down on the side of the road, needing to top off your batteries, charge your devices, power your 12v camping cooler, and or being a good citizen and helping the occasional stranded person getting them back up and going again. I absolutely love all the features that it has, which is why I call it a must. Just charge the Yaber up, toss it in the trunk or under your seat, forget about it until you need it again.

loved the sound effects and the transitions between shots, loved the different camera angles from the SLR and the HERO 9. Such a great review and fantastic production grasshopper, your quality looks better and better!

How do you charge the Yaber? Is it simply with a USB cord plugged into a wall socket like a phone charger? Great job on showing the product.

Nice review, Art! I have something very similar (might even be the same brand) just with a few less bells and whistles. I haven't really put it to the test yet, but it has been good to have during the winter when I worry most about power outages. I will say too that it holds its charge very well while in storage.

Thanks Jamie. I think a lot of these are close to the same unit just rebranded or slightly modified. This one was a high powered one that can start a lawn mower all the way up to a giant truck which is why I went with this one. Glad to hear yours works well being stored for lengthy amounts of time. I set a reminder to check every 6 months just in case.

@@AdventuringArthur that's a good idea about setting a reminder. I should really do that now that I have several battery powered things that are primarily for emergency use. I think you're right about the rebranding too, because mine looks very similar including the case. I forget what brand it is though.

in your test... its assumed your Car battery was drained of power!! Was the Car battery completely drained of power?? afterall it would make sense the Yaber would still have its charge still @100% if there wasnt any power draw

Yes sir. Kind of hard to test a dead battery on a brand new truck. I had ran it down quite a bit but i don’t think it was completely flat. That part was only for demonstration purposes. But that makes sense what you are saying.

I bought this last week. (Yaber YR800 5000A) Very fiddly, unreliable. I tried 8 times to start my car (3l Merc SLK), it only worked twice. Not very confidence inspiring, think the lack of a boost button is the problem. Also used my neighbour's Audew 2000A which worked immediately. Sending it back and getting the YaberAuto 6000A model which is slightly more expensive but has a boost function. Worryingly, the manual says "do not use on car battery with less than 50% charge". How the heck can one tell how much juice is in the battery, apart from using a special voltage tester? This is meant to start a *dead* battery ffs.
