Lots of micro cuts in the gel coat

A vinyl wrap is typically thinner, more so for looks bs protection. PPF is alot thicker

PPF is so thick you’re able to score the film without damaging any paint or gel. I am sure when they cut on these boats they are just scoring the film then tearing away
