Sailing Yacht ZANZIBA
40 m Schooner Sailing Yacht built in Turkey in 2015 as a custom project.
Offered for sale from her first owner.
ZANZIBA has 5 cabins for 10 guests with Huge full beam master cabin amidships and accommodation for 7 crew.
She has vast public areas both in her saloon and on her decks.
ZANZIBA delivers an amazing sailing experience. Although her displacement is 260 tons, she recorded 16 knots speed at 25 knots wind speed and starts sailing even in light winds. At 10 knots wind speed at beam reach she will make 5 - 6 knots speed.
Powered by 2 X C18 Caterpillar engines that will push her at 10.5 knots at 1350 RPM. Max Speed under power is 13 knots
Excess to swimming and dinghy operation is reached by an hydraulic water platform that is open to the Port Side.

Very nice boat, love it. I have seen many of your tours. I've noticed that you leave doors and lids ajar about half the time after opening them. OK if the ship is not at sea.

Not a bidet toilet anywhere. And all that surplus water available. Towels hanging directly over methane producers (toilets) must soak up all that stench, no extractor fans in any dunnys. Galley down stairs from dining room ? Getting the tucker up the stairs without a hoist would be an adventure, especially without a Sea Keeper stabilisation even in a moderate sea. Nice boat but for all that length and beam it's still cramped by design. But l guess this why it's up for sale.

120 ft loa about 85 lwl the hull speed should be about 13 knots rather than 16 knots??? Imho,The sail plan is cut down due to chartering laws from what a racer would have. I crewed a 70 ft mid-century ocean racer that could do almost 12 knots. However, yes, immaculate condition. all excellent, As long as the electric winches work:)> The 130ft tall ship I crewed on needed 20 people to raise the main gaff sail!!!

Give me a boat I can handle alone (50') and can anchor in small coves. This boat is excluded from most anchorages and marinas.

@@YachtMarineBrokerageI am surprised that someone close to you that is fluent in English hasn't helped you correct your few mispronounced words. A couple that I have heard are gauges and lighted. Gauge and gauges is a long a sound like day and hay. The second is lighted which has a long I sound which sounds like "like" or hi or sky. A lot of people, including myself, use the word lit which is the short I sound. I know better but still forget and say lit.

€6,900,000 Euros, £6,019,480 British Pounds, $7,433,715 US Dollars, $10,038,050 Canadian Dollars. On a classic like this you charge them whatever you want, take out celebs, actors, athletes, musicians, politicians...no, scratch that last one, those are tax dollars they're spending, charge 'em $25,000 a head for a 3 day long weekend. I'd just live on it and travel wherever the weather is nice before it gets not so nice where I am, I hate Canadian winters. But first I need to win the LottoMax.

Very nice walk-through. I thought I'd give a Sailing Yacht a look-see just because it was a YMB video. Honestly, though, I'm going to stick with big Motor Yachts. Got to have a Sun Deck with a Hot Tub, a big aft bridge Deck, and a Sky Lounge. At least one bar in every guest area. All those lines and ropes look like chaos to me, and just listening to your description of the sails and such in the first few minutes of this video, seems like I'd have to learn a whole new language. This boat did well taking care of the crew, and nice quarters, especially for the captain.

horrible design at the stern helm you're sailing blind and the point where the main sheet connected is a straight up poor i wonder how many times the captain mashed his head on the boom other than that beautiful boat
