⚡️corybryan2105 was apparently shocked upon seeing his first ever human-Tesla coil interaction. corybryan was struck by what he considered an amped up mad cool display. I resisted the temptation to provide links to far more electrifying performance art that would have jolted his sensibilities into the magnetosphere. The featured performer really should’ve thought out a much more energetic approach to this performance art genre. Had he fused together a more current 21st century version of a guitar sound, a more powerful song, and a high-energy performance; supplemented by a proper balance of light, color and contrast, and additional generative effects and theatrics - we would have been treated to a performance that would’ve resonated through the ages; one that might have made him a potential fixture in the performance art circuit. That he chose to follow the path of least resistance; replaying that which has been accomplished to varying degrees of impressionable success across numerous college campuses in lab exercises, tells the viewer that he’s not yet plugged in to the art scene as a whole. Rather, he simply added a prop to an otherwise standard experiment. As it stands, the outcome was a largely static performance of one content to go with the flow; rehashing a low energy performance based on an age-old glorified party trick. Imagine if there would’ve been an ingenious spark of creativity, that led to a well designed act performed with powerful intensity. One can only imagine how such a presentation would’ve served well to build-up tension and ultimately end in an spectacular performance arc - now, that’s the kind of performance that would have generated enthusiasm and insulated this nascent performer from well-deserved criticism. Is it dangerous? It could be, if one is not properly prepared or protected. Perhaps it should be added, “Do not try this at ohm.”⚡️

This is super cool. I'd love to see a version with some more drums/ bass going on, just so it's more rounded. (I get that the coils are supposed to be the star though.)

oh wow he is using the tesla coils as amplifiers for the guitar which makes me very happy. because l though he was going to have dedicated amplifiers and then mirror the signal through the coils, but the sound is %100 reliant on the coils and it makes this so much cooler.

How does he play the guitar while wearing chain mail? I thought it would be quite difficult.

+nzoomed He is not actually playing, the guitar just conducts an electrical signal that is played by the tesla coils.
@yagodequay8 жыл бұрын
+GuiltyMiner0343 I am actually playing the sounds you hear. This modified guitar, made by ArcAttack, has electrical switches on the neck and bridge that act like a piano. By pressing on the fret and pulling the string a MIDI note gets sent to each of the tesla coils prompting a musical arc.

He's in Chainmail, his head is in a cage, and the chainmail is grounded. PLEASE don't think that electricity can't hurt you just because you're grounded. A full ciruit would be more lethal, but you can still be fried while grounded.

Faraday cage. The chainmail is much more conductive than he is, so the electricity goes through it instead of through him. Just like that scene in the live action Sorcerer's Apprentice, a metal chain link fence will protect you.
